The Test of Adaptation (Shadourians only)

*He walked through the jungle toward the distant mountain range, the Force guiding his every step. The life of the jungle flowed into him like a pitcher filling an empty glass, every part of the jungle was part of him from the youngest plant to the fiercest creature. He did not fear the jungle, what was it to a battlefield? He did not fear the predators, what were they to a Sith Lord's wrath? He did not fear the journey, what was it to Korda? He walked on fearless, the Force would lead him to the cave it had not failed him yet. However in the back of his mind a small voice whispered, but you failed at Korda, you can fail again.

*He came to his first obstacle quicker than he had expected. A deep valley about 100 meters wide, he looked up and down the valley as though he'd see a bridge. Sighing when no bridge appeared he backed up 5 meters.*
"No problem, simple Force Jump, easy."
*He muttered to himself, tensioning for a second he ran full speed toward the edge. He gathered the Force around him into his legs and launched himself across the valley. 10 meters, 25, 50, 75, 80, 90 he was almost there, almost. His knees hit the edge of the opposite side and he began to slide backward into the valley. Only as his chest passed the edge did he grip onto an upturned root. He begun to climb hand-over-hand as the root began to rip out of the ground. He finally pulled himself over the edge, the root still held into the ground by a thread.*

[Kakashi]

*Kakashi had been sleeping in a tree on the side of the valley joseph had jumped to.He sensed Joseph's presence,woke up and jumped out of the tree and landed in front of him.*

"What took you so long? I've been here for 2 hours!"

"Well you did a good job wasting time in that tree."
*He sat down and began rubbing his knees trying to lessen the pain. He then had an idea, reaching into the Force he let it spread across his body. Focusing it to his legs he let it act like a pain-killer on his knees. He rose again, the pain was still there but it was only a shadow of what it had been. Nodding to Kakashi he walked on hacking through the underbrush with his sword.*

*He continued to battle through the underbrush toward the mountains. When an unworldly roar ripped through the air. He turned, his sword held at the ready, but nothing charged forward to attack him. He waited a few moments, vision expanding two fold as he instinctively drew on the Force. After a moment he began to move again walking a bit more quickly than he normally did.*

*The roar came again but his kept walking, closing his eyes he reached out into the Living Force as his Master had once taught him. He could feel it behind him now, legs bent ready to lunge. He turned his blade raising into a classic Soresu defense, as a giant saber tooth tiger flew at him. Its huge paws hit his shoulders forcing him to the ground. As he lay pinned to the ground by its paws. Its mouth closed around his sword as it tried in rip away his only defense.*

*Focusing the Force on the tiger he wrapped it around the tiger and pushed it away from him. It flew back 5 feet landing on its feet, his sword stilled clutched in it mouth. It roared in frustration and his sword dropped to the ground. The tiger charged him and in those few critical seconds he stopped thinking and the Force became his guide. The tiger swung one long clawed paw at him, he didn't do a thing instead the Force did. The claws which have ripped him in half slowed as though they hit an energy shield and only two inch long cuts appeared in his chest. Unconsciously he lifted his hand and his sword flew to meet it. With one swift thrust downward he stabbed through the tiger's neck and with one last roar of anger and pain it fell to the ground dead.*

*He traced his fingers across the two cuts he received from the tiger. The Force stopped the bleeding and closed the flesh. He began walking again after a hour he finally came to the base of a mountain. He looked up scanning for a cave, he couldn't see one. The Force however told him this was the right mountain. He began to ran up it following a twisting as the Force pushed him on.*

*At last he reached the cave and as he stared into it he decided to be cautious. Slowly he entered it wondering what was in store for him.*

Slowly he crept behind the 2 of them watching curiously as to what they were doing he folded his arms together and closed his eyes going into the cave as well letting the force guide him instead of his own vision as vision can be misleading at times
