"Alright... Though that progression did not particularily pass down through my bloodline. I have become more of a defensive specialist, but I can still 'Ataru' pretty well."

*Arlon gets in the Ataru form and begins to explain.*

"To be succesful in Ataru, you must be as acrobatic as you can be. Using flips, and quick counter strikes to overcome your opponent. Use this only against a single opponent, with a blade of some sort, anything else would be a disaster."

[Devlen Del-Arshu]

*Devlen nodded. Thsi would be trickier than he though...his contact with the Force was through his Mancery most of the time...He smiled as he raised his blade, then run at Arlon with it at his side.*

*Arlon got into his pattented Soresu form, his favorite, most defensive form, and waited for Devlen to reach him.*

*Devlen leapt over Arlon's head, feeling the slight tinge in his temples as he unknowingly augmented the jump with Mancery, then swung his blade behind his back.*

*Arlon swung his lightsaber over his head and put it parralel to his back, Devlen's lightsaber bouncing off of it. He turned around quickly, and used a powerful strike towards his sturnom.*

[Devlen Del-Arshu]

ooc: im exhausted. Sry, but 'tis a g'nite moment.

*Devlen managed to swing his blade back around, blocking the blow, but the force of it pushed him back, his heels digging into the ground in an effort to hold his position.*

"Good."

*Arlon once again went into the defensive, still in Soresu however, now waiting for Devlen to attack again.*

"You are indeed gifted."

[Devlen Del-Arshu]

*Devlen smiled.*

"I learned from a Master...nyugh!"

*Devlen twirled his blade around his head, then faked a downward blow, bringing it into a stab.*

*Arlon took the fake, obviously a technique from the great war, but recovered in time to swing his lightsaber down and knock it away in the knick of time. He backs up a little and notices Devlen is moving a little slowly.*

"Are you carrying anything heavy?"

[Devlen Del-Arshu]

*Devlen's eyes widened, then he realized - he'd been discovered. Sighing, he looked at his Master, then reached inside his robes.*

"Now don't over-react Master-"

*He pulled out an obsidian cube, it's sides shining cleanly as if it were freshly cut, though in truth the artifact's age was ancient indeed. Devlen smiled as he looked on it - the Black Box of Mancery, an item both famous and infamous within the Jedi.*

"Know what this is?"

"Looks like a black box to me..."

*Arlon had heard tell of something like this in the archives, and from his father, but he couldnt remember what it was.*

"What is it?"
