Alma Mater Ever True (Ask)

The large Ivory Tower of the University shoots into the air higher then I ever remembered. It casts a shadow over me and...my work. I exit the speeder and the coachman removes my luggage, and well something I'd rather not address at the moment. He looks to me, I pay him his credits, and he is off without questions, just the way I like it.

The Headmaster comes out now. He is older...much older then the last time we met. He smiles to me as he recognizes who I am. How could he forget? Not only did I go above and beyond what was expected of me as a student, but I even improved upon certain scientific methods. I was, and hopefully still am, a celebrity amongst the Professors here. 'Naramis,' he says to me extending a hand for shaking, 'It has been a long time.' I reply in the affirmitive then move right into why I have returned. Making my request as nice as possible, I need quarters and a work area to continue my experiments, hopefully he will consent.

He smiles again and laughs, 'Of course. What exactly do you need?' I tell him, it is an unusual request and I can see it in his face. He replies ,thankfully in the affirmative again. My luggage is then moved into a nearby housing building where I can continue my "studies." Happiness crosses my thoughts. Of all the preivous great minds of science and philosphy, such a thing that I attempt has strangely never before been tried nor thought of. The secret of life. The wonders of creation. Playing the role of a great creator....all of these...the discovery...the knowledge....the glory...it will all be MINE!

I take little time settling in. In fact, I don't settle in at all...I wait for the dissection table to be installed in my attic then i mov emy work upstairs. It was hard...very hard...to transport this cooler off of Glee Anselm and into the University. Let alone hard enough to basically rob the Nautolans of one fo their most precious heroes. But I did it. Grave plundering and robbing is frowned upon in most society and cultures, but that did not stop me. THEY did not stop me...my work must be completed, and the recent death fo this Nautolan meant a fresh cadaver to process...to work upon...to re-create anew. I am not a Grave robber, but I did it. I did it. And my work continues.

I take the large cooler over to the dissecting table and smile. Glory....the only thing to quench my thirst...so close yet so far. I open the cooler, as the mist rises out of the "coffin" i look to see the partly decayed body of my Nautolan specimen. I place the Body on the work table and begin attaching the preservative machines. I waste no time...I am far to excited with this work to delay it any further.

They said he was a hero...a Man worthy of Nautolan legend. I forget his name....R-something. I don't care, his brain is mostly deteriorated. I can save some part of it, and I intend to...but whoever he was is now gone for good...and after Ninety years of existence...he deserves to rest. His body will be reconstructed in it's prime...and his brain will be reconstructed like an infant...he will be a new race of being....a race that will look to me as a God. A Creator of life...their life....they will WORSHIP me! This thought sends a quiver of excitement through me.

They said he was a Jedi. A Noble Knight of Righteousness. I don't care. That life is past...and a new one will arise...one given to him...by Me.
