BTC Fleet Launch (ask)

[Anton Byrax]

*Standing on the observation platform Looking out over the expansive docking bays Anton stood watching the crews of his fleet milling around making their final preperations. The occasional group of security droids marched past in patrol formation, the risk of sabotuers was little but it was better to be safe than sorry.
Many passers by had stopped to look at the array of shinny new ships, the super heavy Freighters resembled massive beached marine mammals in their holding pens.

*There was no sign of Krypten Jeth, Anton wondered what job he would be undertaking and whether it was money or the thrill of the hunt that drove him. It mattered little, Jeth had worked wonders with the droid programming and has assured Anton that they now knew more tricks than most organic soldiers. A siren sounded and the crews hurried aboard their ships, the time was near.*

*Anton's secretary a woman named sefu ran over the proceedings to come.*

"Well sir, the defence frigates will be the first into orbit. Then the heavier tonnage vessels led by the flagship, and so on down through the lower tonnage ships."

*Anton turned from the window to face her.*

"And the timeframe for completion?"

"Estimated 8 hours, Sir. Once the launch is complete there is to be a formal dinner for the command staff, will you be joining them?"

*Anton could imagine the vulgarity of the small talk from common ship captains, not something to look forward too he decided.*

"Perhaps i will, for a while atleast."

[Kapar'in Va]

Krypten entered Anton's office and greeted his boss. "I see that the launch is going smoothly. Did you have a chance to review the changes I made to the droid programs?"

[Anton Byrax]

*Glancing at the Krypten who suddenly entered, Anton was not in surprised. He had grown acustomed to the Mandalorians nack for appearing when needed.*

"Ah my good man, come to save me for this rabble have you. Everything is going well yes, And the droids are much more reliable thanks to you."

*Having no wish to engage with the command staff on a personal level, Anton thought it might be better to inspect the ships from the bays themselves.*

"Come lets take a walk."

[Kapar'in Va]

"Yes sir." Krypten followed Lord Byrax down to the hanger. "With your permission sir, I would like to accompany the fleet on its first run, in case I need to make adjustments to the droids' programming."

[Anton Byrax]

"Thats a good idea, it will be wise to ensure that the defense forces are operating at peak performance. There my be a threat from oppurtunists, with the launch of such a large fleet. And on that note, i trust your business is going well? There is great need for bounty hunters in this day and age."

*Strolling carelessly along a platform, Anton nods to the crew of one of the smaller freighters.*

Krypten shrugged. "It goes well enough. With my employment here, I have been able to be more selective in what extra jobs I take. Was there someone specific you had in mind or were you just speaking in general?"

[Anton Byrax]

"Someone specific."

*Handing jeth a small holo emitter, Anton continued. *

"I recieved this communication a short time ago, and i'm eager to find out who sent it. Perhaps with your expertise you might be able to track them down?"

[Kapar'in Va]

Taking the transmitter from Anton, Krypten watched the message being played. "Most curious. I have never heard of her before. Do not concern yourself with it Lord Byrax. I will devote all my efforts to finding this person."

"Yes well, do what you can."

*Moving on through the bays, they approach the Droid command Frigate. Surveying the vessel, bristling with turrets Anton stood before a detail of security droids. The commander unit stepped forward.*

"Greetings Lord Byrax......Vessel 5917003 is ready for departure......."

"Fantasitc, My aide here will travel with you on the maiden voyage."

*Turning to Jeth.*

"Looks like this is your stop, i will keep in contact with you from the command centre here once you make orbit."

[Kapar'in Va]

"Yes sir."
Krypten checked his gear to make sure he had everything. There would be a small crew of humans on every vessel to make sure that if changes were needed, they could be double checked in person, so Krypten had an encrypted comm that would allow him to communicate with them. As the droids began boarding the ship, Krypten turned back to Lord Byrax and bowed. "I will give you regular status reports throughout the trip." With that, Krypten followed the droid patrol onto the command vessel.

"Good, Then i will see you after"

*Watching the units board the ships around him, Anton turned and walked back to the command centre. In the distance behind him the blare of sirens grew louder and the tremendous roar of engines sounded along the docking bays as several ships began to lift off.*

Krypten stood on the bridge of the command ship as it eased its way into orbit over Naboo. Around them, he could see more frigates and cargo ships joining them, as they waited for clearance to jump into hyperspace. Krypten observed the droid pilots as they worked the controls. Turning to one of the technicians, he ordered him to check up with the other crews. Everything seemed to be going smoothly so far.

Before long, the entire fleet had assembled above Naboo. Krypten ordered the ships to run a full systems diagnostics and then had the technicians verify that all systems were working correctly. The BTC employees scurried about obeying his orders. After several minutes, all teams had reported back that all systems were functioning as programmed. Krypten opened the comm back to the command center on the surface

"Lord Byrax. All systems are online and the fleet is ready to move out."

While he awaited Byrax's reply, he checked out their flight plan. It would take some time before they reached their destination.
