Paying Job

[Aradan Ather]

That was far too easy

With a sudden wrench, Aradan freed his knife and allowed the glorious red syrup flow from his victim's skull. Without bothering to clean the blade, Aradan put his knife away and looked at his fallen opponent.

"That was pathetic..." he said out loud, there was no good sport lately, only these low-life scums that sauntered about in their gangs.

The Rodian at his feet was a two-timer, his own gang had hired Aradan, he had done the creature a favor by giving him a quick death. But these small time jobs were starting to bore him. He needed something worth killing, something that would actually be a challenge.

Aradan slowly drew his other knife and decapitated the lifeless figure, baging the head. Then, with one swift kick, sent the rest of the corpse flying down into the depths of Coruscant, probably to be hit by a speeder on the way down. Aradan laughed at the thought.

With that, he started down the street to get to a lift tube, he would soon have the bounty to the gang and be ready to receive his next job.

[Halan]

*Halan walked out form an empty street allyway his hood up as he strolled absently midedly though the crowd of people paying attentin to the odd person who seemed to have some interest about the way they walked...or there conversation...it still wasn't overly interesting...he looke dup and saw a man..his hand dripping with...blood..ye sit was....he stoped and looked at the man as he began to walk closer to him*

[Aradan Ather]

Aradan noticed a man starting to draw near him and decided to ignore him for the moment. He moved slowly, fingering the knife beneath his vest ever so slightly. It never hurt to be cautious.

In silence, Aradan murmured chants to the medalion at his chest, praying for it to bring him good fortune.

[Halan]

*He stops before the man as he begins to murmer things under his bath...slightly confused halan turns quickly his coat swaying in the wind slightly as he moves*

"What are you saying?"

[Aradan Ather]

Aradan stoped chanting to the medallion of Vanail and faced the man entirely.

"Nothing that you need to know about."

Since Aradan had stopped walking, the dripping blood started to pool at his feet, the pool spread until it was beneath both their feet. This didn't seem to bother Aradan, he was more interested in the intents of this... stranger.

[Halan]

"Not very inconspicuous is it..walking down a road dripping someone else bloody you either don't care about being caught or your to lazy to simply clean it up...either way you drawing alot of attention"

[Aradan Ather]

"The local authorities are never a problem to deal with," Aradan smirked, "And the Jedi... well the Jedi are always to 'busy' to deal with things like this. Guardians of peace and righteousness..."

Aradan spit on the floor, which landed in the pool of blood.

"Now if you'll excuse me, I have a bounty to collect."

[Halan]

"On a pool of blood?"

[Aradan Ather]

Aradan, slightly smiled, surely this man was being sarcastic.

"No, if you must know, the Sefain gang in the lower city is where I will collect the bounty."

The pool was starting to get larger, and was attracting quite a lot of attention.

[Halan]

"Interesting...well I would be impressed but taken down a bunch of thugs has its limits...I mean anyone with repblic solider training could kill those idiots"

[Aradan Ather]

"So true..." Aradan said, "But it's the only sport this rock has to offer... Unless you can think of something better?"

[Halan]

"Well I am terribly sorry but the entertainment industry isn't my fortay.....I do know some charming bars on this planet but something tells me that wasn't the kind of entertainment you were talking of"

[Aradan Ather]

Aradan was about to shake his head when his ears picked up something.

"Look who finally showed..." Aradan muttered, turning towards the street.

Four speeders pulled up filled with the local authorities, in seconds they were surrounded.

"Put your hand on your heads and you will not be harmed."

"Typical," Aradan scoffed, "I hope you're as good as fighting as you are talking."

In the next second, Aradan jumped into the air with his knives in hands.

[Masuko / Luna]

*Realising what had happened, one of the officers raised his rifle and let off a few shots at Ather. One of them skimmed his left leg but the other shots went nowhere near.*
"Carefull you idiot, there are civilians around!"
*The lead officer jumped off his speeder and drew a vibroblade while the others drew blasters.*

[Athos Iskari]

*Tayhon was walking by, when he noticed the authorites yelling to these two men, he started to just walk away thinking that it wasn't his business but then turned back*

"I think I'll join the fun"
