*More like wiping the records, Anton thought.*

"Iam sorry if i offended you master Jedi with my questioning of your heritage, i merely sought to congratulate you on such cheaply bought Nobility."

*His smile was a cruel and dangerous one, Anton was not a potent warrior but his words could strike like the venom of a sea vyper.
Suddenly Anton remembered the holo comm, it was on the desk close to the young Jedi and he couldnt remember if he had wiped the logged communications between himself a salraar the Gang Leader. He tried not to look at it in the hope that the Jedi wouldnt notice it.*

Kapar'in was far to busy observing Byrax's behavior to acknowledge his barb about nobility. This was not the first time that someone had criticized him and the Order. "It is most unfortunate that no travel records exist. They would have proven to be a most valuable clue."
::Though perhaps not as much as the absence of one does:: he thought to himself. Kapar'in saw Lord Byrax's eyes dart toward the holo comm on his desk. It was becoming increasingly obvious that the "accident" was not all it seemed. "Does your company have any rivals? Anyone who would be bold enough to attack one of your ships?"

"Grent wasnt one for Admin and the like, so i hardly find it unusal. As i said earlier one doesnt have to look far for enemies in these dangerous times, even without the threat of constant war. Our company has no rivals that iam aware off."

*Thinking quickly, Anton moved for the office comm.*

"Excuse me a moment master Jedi."

*Using the comm, he called in his tempoary aide. standing he leaned over and took the holo comm, handing to the aide he sat down again.*

"The holo emitter is broken and requires fixing." *he said smoothly.*

[Kapar'in Va]

Kapar'in stood as Anton handed the holo comm to his aide. "Well, Lord Byrax, I thank you for your time. You will be notified once the investigation is complete. If you think of anything that might be useful in solving this mystery, you can contact me through the Jedi Temple." Kapar'in bowed his head to the nobleman. "Perhaps your aide could show me the way out?"

"Yes of course, and i thank you profusely for your interest in this matter."

*Antons aide appeared at the door ready to shepard the Jedi on his way.*

Kapar'in bowed again to Lord Byrax before turning to follow the aide. As they walked through the halls, Kapar'in reached out with the Force and sensed that Lord Byrax was still in his office. Something was definitely amiss. Kapar'in decided he would talk to the Council, though he was not sure what they could do.

Thanking the aide, Kapar'in made his way back to the spaceport. While he waited for his transport back to Coruscant, he started planning what to say in his report. While there was no physical evidence that Byrax was involved, Kapar'in felt that it would be most prudent to have the BTC closely monitored for the near future.
