Investigations ((Dagobah, Ask))

[Lu Kane]

::Looking into the cockpit of the starship known as Kane's Blaze, Lu Kane sleeps in the pilot's seat, tossing and turning::

Wait... Wha...?

*Kane abruptly jerks awake as the ship emerges from hyperspace with a jolt. He looks around at the familiar scene of the foggy atmosphere of Dagobah, a planet he had visited countless times before*

Well, I'm here, theres a presence that I havn't felt before this time, something sinister, old...

*He brings the ship down to the planet's surface with little difficulty, having had many experiences with the marshes and the fog surrounding the land. Kane popped open the hood and jumped out, splashing into a pool of water barely a foot deep, he pulled his robes around him and walked out into the marsh*

[Lu Kane]

*Lu walks onward toward where he felt this strange presence. It wasn't human, or any other species that he could sense, but something else, something not living... Perhaps dead*

"Hello...? Is there someone out there? I can sense you, make this easier on yourself and step out where I can see you"

::A strange hissing sound emits from the trees surrounding Lu::

"Just come out!"

(Unknown voice) Fine...

*A shadowy figure steps out into the frontal vision of Kane, it stands there for what seemed like an eternity, gawking at Lu*

"No, thats impossible... You died, along with the rest of my people!"

"I may have died, but that defeats the purpose, I'm here for you... son..."

"Why? What do you want from me?"

"Why did you do it? Why did you betray the council? You have fallen like countless others have, you think you can resist it don't you? You should know better, you've heard the stories of the ones that hid in the dark, the ones that fled and were thought destroyed. I thought I taught you better than that boy! I"

*The ghostly figure of Zalos Kane, Lu's father leans forward and springs at Lu, a lightsaber disapates into his hands, a bright blue beam ignites from the end*

"I shall end your rain of terror before it even begins!! I will not let one of my blood become a tyrant!"

*Lu reluctantly draws his lightsaber, igniting the red-gold blade and blocking the attack by his father*

"Father, I have not fallen to the dark side"

"But you will! You cannot stop the inevitable! I must kill you here and now!"

*The image of Zalos leaps forward once more, swinging his saber like a mace at Lu's side, attacking from what seemed like everywhere, from all the sides, from above*

*Lu flips backward away from his father and brings up his saber, parallel with his body, pointing straight up, the ready stance of Kenzu, the style taught by Zalos*

[Lu Kane]

"you mean to use my own style against me? Pfft, you definitely aren't my son"

*Lu leaps forward, slashing high at the ghost, his father intercepts the attack with his saber and with his free hand grabs hold of Lu's neck and throws him to the ground like a rag doll*

"Your form is pathetic, and your attacks weak, you have fallen so far as tp forget my training, do not rely completely on your strength to win, use your mind, think strategy my son. Without that you stand no chance against the dark side"

"You are right of course, I should use my head a bit more"

*Lu springs forward once again and feints a low slash and his knees, instead of going through with the attack Lu headbutts his father in the forehead, knocking him back, slashes up high and cuts his lightsaber in half*

"Now, you give..."

*The sound of cruel laughter erupts from the figures mouth, a sick hacking laugh, one Lu had never heard his father utter*

[Lu Kane]

*Zalos lifts up his hands in a gesture of a choke hold and Lu is yanked up off the ground*

"You forget that lightsabers are not the most powerful weapons, the Force is a power unimaginable and infinite!"

*While holding Lu in a choke hold he shoots dark Force lightning across to slam into him, electrifying his body and soul with dark power*

Carith... caRITH!

[Jedi Knight Carith Korso]

*Upon hearing those words Carith arrived he came up from behind the figure,with his saber already ignited the green blade illuminating the area forming a light*

"Your right the force is most powerful"

*Carith sent a Massive force wave at the figure sending him flying forward along with Lu Kane,his body thudding on the ground slaushing in the mud Carith helps Lu up*

[Lu Kane]

*Kane takes Carith's help and stands up, he looks over in the direction of the figure and gasps, it began to change form*

ooc: alright dude, make it transform into something that your character fears, mentally, like someone dead that would raise doubt in yourself

*The figure began to shift from shadow to shadow,its body looked likea fluid flowing around to form the area,it finally stopped showing a once peacful but lost man,Cariths father appeared,he hasnt seen him in many years since he was but a child,his father fell to the darkside then wasnt seen for many years,the figure began to appraoch carith*

"No...Dad?...No...Cant be...No"

*It looked so real Carith couldnt tell if it was real or not*

[Lu Kane]

*Lu looks up, seeing the figure and frowning once more. He now understood what this was, it was a vision of their fears and darkest emotions embodied in a spirit*

"You can't win with weapons or strength, it must be with words, with reason..."

*The form splits into two, Zalos and Carith's father*

[Jedi Knight Carith Korso]

*Carith understood,his emotions wouldnt and couldnt get the best of him,he had learned in his years as a Jedi Knight how to control his emotions,he turned to the figure and looked it in the eye*

Father:"Come with me my son join the darkside and undertake my training and complete my qeust to power it is your desitny"

"No i will never join the Darkside,i will follow mother,she was the right one,the lightside has showed me the path of ritousness she showed me the right things unlike you you abandonded us to the darkside"

[Lu Kane]

*Lu spins around to face the vision, his father*

"So, why did you disobey the council?"

"If I had not, I would have been disobeying myself, what I did was natural, what the jedi try and do, is unatural. Guarding your emotions, programming your mind and your thoughts, taking away your baser instincts to install their own. I do not believe the Force would have wanted this... At least not for me"

[Jedi Knight Carith Korso]

*Cariths father turned to Lu Kane and gave hima cold stare of pleasure,he smiled at him then spoke*

Father:"Then Boy,since my son wont,then you shall help me join me join the darkside and i sahll complete your training there are no restrictions to the darkside"

*Carith turned to Lu and shook his head*

"Lu dont listen to him he is full of it,dont listen"

[Lu Kane]

*Kane frowned*

"I have intention of joining the dark side, neither do I have listening to preaches of the light, it's all the same to me"

[Jedi Knight Carith Korso]

*Carith turned back to his father then smiled at Lu Kane he wasnt proud of his words but at least he wasnt joining the darkside*

Father:"You will Join me the both of you."

"I will not father"

*Carith was sincere about his words he would never join the darkside nor would he even think about it his teachings of the Jedi are clear and will never*

[Lu Kane]

"So this other guy is light side? Hes more the son I used to know, come over here my boy"

"Fine, you can be like that father, I won't give in to this, I will stay inbetween"

*Carith looked at Lu's father,he told him to come to him,he could sense the lightside with in him,he chose not to go to him,because he knew it wasnt real*

Father:"Dont listen to him boy your path lies with me on the darkside"

"Father i follow the path of the light!...dont ask me again!"
