Aboard the Jedi Venator (All Jedi, Open For Now)

OOC: This will provide an example of how fighting will take place in the future, it is not the beginning of a war, merely one of many battles the Jedi have decided to help the Republic fight.

Nor-Lek stood patiently beside the holoprojecter in the briefing room on the Jedi Venator, the only Jedi Capital ship. He had sent out a transmission to all Jedi comlink frequency’s, and was awaiting those who had received it. He sighed slightly, he had agreed to help the Republic fight a pirate force on Abregado-rae. He was not a fan of war, but this particular battle was a neccasery one for the Order to fight.

[Master Bondora]

Master Bondora activated the vertical repulsor array of his Jedi Transport. He watched on the overhead monitor as the monad's rooftop fell away from the ship. The ship's nav computer then began plotting directional velocity vectors that would take him to the rendezvous point specified by Nor.

Within a matter of minutes he was high above the clouds, the curve of the planet revealing itself. It would take a little time to reach his destination; the orbital shells surrounding Coruscant were nearly as congested as the traffic strata on or near the surface.

A few hours later, the transport landed inside the Venator as the Twi'lek exited his ship and made his way toward the rendezvous point...

“Good morning,” Nor-Lek greeted his fellow master.

*From within the Jedi Venarator, I sit quietly in a small, barren room, fiddling with a small piece of machinery. The device, once completed, would improve a astromech droid's ability to communicate, allowing them to communicate with one another without actually beeping.

Suddenly, a small beeping noise emits from my com-link, sitting on a nearby desk. I silence it, knowing what it is instructing me to do, and put it into my Jedi robe. Making sure my lightsabre is strapped firmly to my belt, I exit the room, locking it behind me, and continue towardsthe area Master Nor-Lek had instructed me to go towards. I had agreed to help him on his mission, and now was the time to fulfill that promise...*

[Master Bondora]

"Greetings Master Nor-Lek." The Twi'lek said while bowing slightly before the Senior Council member.

[Jedi Knight Carith Korso]

*Carith had just made a Devistatingly close to death escape,he was attacked by many men but luckily his friend Doc saved him,his ship began to enter the docking bay of the Jedi Venator,the Hiss of the coolants echoed throughout the hanger as he set the landing gear,his ship touched down,immediatly upon him getting out many of the crew quickly ran to the ship plugging in the fuel line and directing fuel into it,he approached one of the crew,and the crew member saluted him*

"Adese,i am here to speak with Jedi Master Nor-lek Kordin,he has summoned the Jedi"

Soldier:"Right this way"

*Carith followed the trooper down the well lit halls and down many corridors,he finaly came to room where the masters were he approached them and bowed*

"good to see you all"

[August/Heetho]

August was in the middle of training in his room with his vibrosword when the announcement came on. He ducked under an invisible sword, "Dodge, counter." he rolled to the right, stabbing towards an invisible person's ribs, "Stab, parry." He parried an invisible blade, then stood up, "Dodge and pin." He slammed his blade against where someone's knees would be, though he used the back of his sword, then brought the blade to where someone's throat would be.

Sweat poured from his face as he went to the sink, still holding the vibrosword. He leaned the hilt against the sink, then turned the water on, wetting down his face and chest, then dried it with a towel. He turned around, sliding on his regular attire, then force pulled his lightsaber to his hand.

He opened the door to his room with a movement of his hand, and continued down the hall, strapping the lightsaber to his belt as he adjusted the cloak to better fit around him. He reached the holoprojector room, nodding to those that were already there.

"Master Nor-Lek, I'm sorry, but I got your message too. I was wondering if, despite my status as a Padawan, I too could go along." August laced his fingers at his stomach, allowing the sleeves of his cloak to completely cover his hands.

“I believe enough are here to begin, please all take a seat. The room was like a small stadium, 5 tiers of seats curved around the outside, the outer ones dominating over the frontal ones. In the middle there stood a giant holo-projector, it hummed to life as Nor-Lek’s nimble fingers flew over the light blue controls. After a few moments beams of navy light shot out, projecting a 3D overview of the galaxy. Nor-Lek’s hand wove through the projection, as it came to sit inside the Core Worlds, the holoprojector it promptly zoomed into it. “The Abregado system,” he commented, putting his hand into it, allowing this too to zoom into a larger view. “Home to Abregado-Rae, the third world of the system, and home to the sentient beings known as the Gado,” his hand pushed into the planet, brining it up to a spinning view. “It has been invaded, by a pirate fleet. The Republic has requested us to accompany it to a recovery battle, we are to serve our part in fighting the pirates back out into the Outer Rim.”

OOC: I hope it's alright to be late?

Lirra jogged through the hallways, the small travel bag swung over her shoulder clanking with an awful racket. She had left as soon as she’d gotten the message but alas the small transport at her disposal wasn’t much on speed. She hadn’t helped matters much herself, dismal pilot that she was, but at least she’d arrived in one piece. That was quite an accomplishment on her part.

“ ’Scuse me, coming through…”

Lirra bowled over several crew members before finally reaching the briefing room, at which point she slowed down and attempted to sidle in with some amount of dignity. The effect was unfortunately spoiled by her tripping over her own feet, but to her credit she recovered quickly and offered a quick bow to the room in general before settling herself on a seat, accompanied by a few muffled clanks from her back pack.

“Sorry.” She murmured, turning her gaze to the holo projector and shrinking back in her seat in an attempt to not be noticed.

August retreated to the sorrounding chairs, and promptly sat down, adjusting his cloak so as it would not bother him during Master Nor-lek's briefing. He listened diligently, waiting until he had finished, then called for Master Nor-lek's attention.

"Pardon me Master Nor-Lek, but might I bother for a question?" He waited for a few seconds, then continued, "If we are to engage these pirates, and drive them to the Outer Rim, am I to believe we are going to engage in space battles?"

*Carith took his seat,the seat across from Master Nor-Lek,Carith adjusted himself in the seat as he listned the Master Norlek go over the briefing,he looked over at August who had asked about the space Battles,He glared upon the map seeing the planets spin in there cycle,Carith sat calmly and peacefully awaiting more objectives*

[Kapar'in Va]

Kapar'in had arrived on the Venator with his Master, Nor-Lek. As the meeting began, he settled into his seat and listened as Master Nor-Lek explained their goals.

“Please be patient I will explain,” he said, his eyes transfixed upon the swirling planet. “The Republic have already decided the attack, we are to act as a strike squad. The republic will bring their fleet out of hyperspace here and here,” his hand stabbed into the positions as he spoke, “from this position they will land their drop-ships creating a barrier around the pirates and sectioning them off. They will close in, and eventually force the pirates off into space. There is one problem; there is a large military structure that has been erected in this area, it can’t be taken over by military dominance, and they need specialists. We will puncture its outer defences and enter with a small group. My padawan will be my right hand, he is well informed and should our group be separated he will know what to do. You will all be taking exact orders from me and the commanders who will be accompanying us, understood?”

*Carith nodded and spoke up to Master Nor-Lek*

"Yes Master"

*Carith stayed in his seat comfortably awaiting this to begin,he wasnt exactly sure on his position yet but he wasnt worried in due time it would be known to him*
