Tonight one mans a dead man (Dark Jedi Test)

The night was calm, it was as quiet as a lone night with no wolf out to howl to it. No moon was in the sky, since there was no moon for Alderaan. Everything seemed to be a standstill, everything but the shadows of the night which carried many things within them. The many of them moved fast along with the night sky, as they rushed across the ground to building to building, but what people didn't see is the thing past the shadow. The one past the shadow which if anyone ever encountered it was pretty much a dead man, except for the lucky few. The thing behind it was simply called the shadow at times, but few knew its name, it's real name, Vishnu.

In the city, Vishnu moved slowly and quietly among the buildings his eyes looking around. He sat on top of a building and sat down and search the ground. Vishnu was a tall man, looked in his 20's, a white piece of cloth covering his nose and mouth, and his short black hair helped him hide himself within the shadows. His chest plate moved slightly as he noticed the man walk by, but he was a regular civilian and would be of no help to him. A small black dagger was stuck in his mouth, and his lightsaber was sin his hands. Vishnu eyes scanned the empty street looking for anything, or anyone who looked like the were military personnel. And soon his eyes scanned a tall man who was wandering the empty street, in soldier uniform walking the streets with his weapon out. He looked like he was guarding the street, and he looked up to where Vishnu and saw nothing. Just as his head turned the other way Vishnu was behind him and he walked slowly towards him. The man noticed nothing but heard the footsteps behind him and turned around, nothing there. The man grew frightened and as he turned around Vishnu stood in front of him with his lightsaber ignited. The man quickly took shots and Vishnu hit them away easily and walked up to the man. The man tripped on his own feet and fell back onto the ground, he tried pushing himself backwards but Vishnu stepped on his chest. The man did a little weak whimper as Vishnu bent down and looked into the mans eyes. Soon a cold hearted voice came out from behind the cloth.

"General Tyranib where is he?" Vishnu said quietly and coldly. The man appeared horror stricken as Vishnu moved his lightsaber over to wards the man. The man made no sound and Vishnu kept his patience. "Where the hell is General Tyranib?" Vishnu said a bit more louder.

"He..He.. He's in a hotel, in the downtown part of the city." The man said trying to look away from Vishnu, but Vishnu moved the man's face back to look at him.

"What's the name of the hotel?" Vishnu kept the stare at the man to keep him horrified.

"Hotel Aldera. Biggest one in the city." The man said looking like he was about to cry.

Vishnu looked away from him for a second, disgnited his lightsaber and put his dagger away. He looked as if he was going to get off, but then suddenly both of Vishnu's hands shot out and grabbed the man's neck. Without much work Vishnu twisted quickly cracking the neck sideways, and killing the man. Vishnu grabbed the man and dragged him over to side of an old building, easily opened the building up, and threw the man in. The building looked like it hadn't been in awhile and he hoped no one would go in there. Vishnu then got back on top of the buildings and made his way towards the downtown part of the city.

Vishnu swiftly made his way over to the dowtown part of the city and soon he had too keep himself hidden in the shadow. His feet were not heard as he moved around in the shadows keping himself hidden from the on going passers, the speeders and air taxis up above, and the random civilians on their roofs. Some people had caughten glimpses of the shadow but shrugged it off knowing it might have been some air taxi up above making a shadow, or a mind trick. The military people had been greatly pulled up as soldiers seemed to infect the streets with their blasters up and making sure nothing got past. Vishnu kept good at staying away from them as he knew he was supposed to be an assaisian on this mission and he would have to do it well. He made his way threw the streets waiting to find the sign that would be big, flashy and have a neon glow, and say "Hotel Aldera!". Vishnu past by many hotels, all of them with flooding entrances of people going in and out. Then as Vishnu past a long street he saw up ahead the sign of the hotel, and as he had expected the sign glew in the night.

Vishnu quickly made his way to the hotel and disguied his weapons under a cloak as he entered the building. Inside the building was lit up with bright lights up above in beautiful chandeliers all of which made entering people gaze in awe at them. Vishnu looked up at them and then looked away and saw the beatifully designed front desk which made it look like it was in the clouds. All around the beautiful architecture made the room shine everything. Vishnu made his way fastly to the front desk and was greeted by a short man, fat man.

"Hello, and Welcome to Hotel Aldera. Do you have reservations?" the man said keeping a smile on that he gave to all of his customers. Vishnu kept his head down and then spoke softly.

"No. I'm looking for a General Tyranib, could you tell me which room he is in." Vishnu said trying to act as poliet and well mannered so the man didn't get suspicous.

"I'm sorry sir but I can't give away personal information away just like that. Or I would lose my job." The man said making a laugh trying to show that he couldn't give away the information.

"But I am one of his soldiers, and I have come to give him an important message." Vishnu said giving his best lie to the man.

"Your not a soldier, your just a regular civilian. Where is your military uniform and guns huh. Nice try but I can't give you his hotel room number." He said scowling at Vishnu.

"Why don't you just give me it before I end your pathetic life." Vishnu said getting annoyed and flashed his duel blaster pistol at him.

"You don't scare ......" Before he could say anything Vishnu used the force to cut off his breath and the man moved hsi arms around. Vishnu took away the force and then smield evilly.

"Now, why don't you be smart and give me that room number." Vishnu said acting calm and makign sure the people behind him didn't see his weapons.

"Room 248. 2nd Floor, it is guarded by a lot of soldiers." The man said scared to death of another force atatck liek that.

"Good, and thank you." And before the man could reply Vishnu had left and made his way back outside again. The man behind him seemed horro strucken and soon the next customer came up before he could think about what happened and he went back to work.

Vishnu made his way outside of the hotel and walekd to the back side where no one from the street could see him, the only people that could were the people in air taxi's and the ones in the houses next to the hotel. Vishnu made his way around and then started looking for a way to get up. He knew he couldn't take an turbo lift up to the room sicne he would be swarmed by troops and his mission would be a faliure. And then an idea struck him, he needed to steal and air taxi and fly up to the room. He quickly made his way around to the front of the hotel and looked around for an air taxi that had landed.

OOC: I like what you've done minus threatening the hotel manager. Since you went that route, your job has just gotten harder.

*As soon as the man left and headed up to the room, the hotel manager was rung by the clerk. The manager quickly contacted the general and advised him of the situation. Preparations were made for this so called "soldier". He had made one vital mistake. The general smirked as he put his utility belt on. These assassins always mess up at some point. If they thought they could take him down, they were seriously misled. Who needed Jedi around when a blaster could do the job just as well.*

"Lietenant!!"

*A young man of about 21 walks up to the General and salutes.* "Yes sir!"

"Make sure our little guest receives the best kind of hospitality the Republic can give him. Do I make myself clear?"

*The lietenant smiled and replied cockily.* "Yes, sir."

"Dismissed."

*The man saluted again and went outside the room shutting the door behind him. He was already giving orders to the guards stationed outside. Tonight would be a night to remember for the hotel guests.*

Vishnu made his way around back to the front of the building and looked over to the entrance. To his disgust he saw the hotel manager with an Alderaan soldier and he seemed to be describing someone. Crap he thought, knew he should have left him dead, now he needed a plan B, the general would obviously be tightly guarded. Vishnu walked the side walk looking around thinking as quickly as he could to try and think. He needed to change his identity, it would give him some time. With that Vishnu ruffled up his hair, and looked around for the usual city drunk or city druggie. He made his way around the street the hotel was on, and he found the kid he was looking for. A kid wearing long pants, long shirt, which would fit Vishnu perfectly, and walking around by himself with a bag in his hand. With that Vishnu made his way over to the kid and without warning he tackled the kid behind a building and knocked him out. He let the kid stay alive, he wasn't ready to kill kids. He stripped the kid of all his clothes other then his underwear, and Vishnu took off his cloak and put on the kids cloths. The shirt and pants ft perfectly over his belt, he put down his blasters and left them there. His lightsaber and dagger though were hidden under the bagginess. Vishnu made his way back on to the street and he looked different except he needed to change something about his face, and without thinking he punched his cheek enough to make a bruise, but nothing bad. He made his way back to the hotel. He walked inside again making his way past the hotel clerk who seemed to still be scared as he talked quickly to a soldier next to him. Vishnu couldn't resist as he walked closely to hear all the drama of the man describing the scene of a man ready to kill him, and he wanted to laugh but he went clear of them. He slowly walked around and on the counter of the front desk was a map and he took it out. He looked and found room 248 on it, he ran his finger to the farthest away turbo lift which was on the other side of the building. Now he needed to plan, he couldn't kill anyone with blood, and he needed all of the soldiers uniforms, Which was probably 25 soldiers. The more Vishnu thought about it the more annoyed he got with himself, he needed to get to the general but if he went threw the usual windows and doors he would be caught easily. Then another idea sprung up, they gotta have ventilation in the building, the usual assassin way of killing, probably booby trapped, but its a way in. Vishnu liked the idea and calculated his odds, and he knew they wouldn't rig the ventilation it would be to deadly for the citizens. Vishnu quickly made his way over to the bathroom and walked in casually. No one was in the room which was a great deal of luck for Vishnu as he made the door stuck and he looked for the vent. He saw it above a stall and he used the force to rip off the thing over it. He then climbed on top of the toilet and jumped into the vent. He made his way into the vent and started crawling around for a way up to the next floor. The vent was dusty making him want to sneeze but he held it in as he went threw, The thing seemed to be very long and he went threw it and finally he saw what he had been looking for, a way up to floor 2. He saw no handle way up and he did another useful tactic in rock climbing, he put his back against one side and his feet against the other and he inched his way up patiently. After about 15 minutes of inching his way up he made it to the next floor. He had sensed no sign of rigged vents,and he kept his way on. Soon he made his way over one that showed the floor below and he looked down to see soldiers patrolling the hall of the room. He quickly walked past and started his way threw it.

(OOC: don't mess up at your meeting, and I know I made mistakes in my last post. But don't worry Mr. General will still be luckily alive when you come back)

Vishnu crawled slowly threw the vents trying to get a situation where he could get to the general with out blaster fire when all of them had blaster rifles locked and loaded. And if he did make it past that he had to get out of there with the general alive, and all of the soldiers uniforms. He knew it was tough but he would find the way, nothing stops him. Vishnu's morale went up as he went threw the vent and he looked threw another open vented thing and he looked around. A soldier was there and Vishnu looked at the nearest door, and then looked at the number. "242" Vishnu became a bit tense and nervous as it was almost time to go threw to the generals room. He made his way threw and at the next vent he looked at the door to the side and it was the number he wanted. "248" and the way in threw the vent going to the room. Vishnu kept calm and quiet as he made his way and took a left at the next turn which would bring him inside the room and near the general. He made his way into the room and he slowly mad it to the open vented one. And he slowly looked into the room and tried spotting the general. He expected to see the general sitting and doing some thing with 5 guys around him, and he was right except the general was alone in full Armour and his weapons out looking around for something. Vishnu knew the general was expecting him and then Vishnu caught something out of the middle of his eyes, the door to the bathroom had a light and a small voice coming from it, their were soldiers hiding inside the bathroom. Vishnu knew what he had to get rid of first now and he made sure the general hadn't spotted him as he made it to the vent that led to the bathroom. He went into the room and he looked into the open vent, to see 3 soldiers sitting down, one on the toilet, one on the shower, and one on the sink. All of them talk quietly and it looked like two of them were playing pazaak while the one on the toilet watched the other 2 play. Vishnu's plan was to take them out, but he knew something he had to do, he had to close the door to shut off the sound of the bathroom to the general. And Vishnu listened to the conversation going on below and waited for them to become quiet.

"I gotta go to the bathroom." The one on the toilet said softly and jokingly.

"Yea your funny, were not allowed to get out of here, I can't believe were being hidden in here." The one on the counter said annoyed.

"Yea I bet that assassin could easily be taken by the general alone, I dunno why he needs us." The one on the shower said.

"Your turn Faggren." The one on the counter said moving his card over to make his thing add up to 16.

The one on the toilet fell silent along with the other two as they continued to play. The general soon yelled to them asking if they heard anything and the one on the counter replied no. And the general responded by telling them to close the door, not to make it to obvious of their notice. This was Vishnu's Que and he waited until the one on the shower closed the door fully. Now he was ready to strike.

Vishnu watched intently at the men and waited for them to become really quiet as he would strike at them. As soon as they were quiet he slowly but steadily took off the open vent place and looked down at them. He made sure they didn't notice and he sat there for a few seconds and tried to figure out what he was going to do. After a minute he saw them relaxed, their guns over to he side a few feet away from all of them. The one on the toilet looked like he was asleep, the two playing pazaak seemed to stop and followed the man on the toilet and closed their eyes and slept. With that Vishnu swept down on them and he two who had just went to sleep woken easily and were horror strucken seeing an adult in kids clothes. With that Vishnu went over to the man on the shower and grabbed his neck like he did to the man when he first came here and twisted ti violently killing him instantly. The other one was scared to death seeing the man just kill his companion and he rushed over to his rifle, but was stopped as Vishnu grabbed his leg and hoisted him back over to Vishnu. And Vishnu laid him on the ground and stomped on his head knocking him out. The man nose bled and Vishnu quickly went down and took out a cloth he had over his mouth in the beginning and put it in the man nose to clog it so blood didn't get over the uniform. The man on the toilet started rubbing his eyes and soon he awoke to see Vishnu holding his Head, and like the last times, he twisted it violently killing him also. Killing people like that was Vishnu's easiest way to kill them bare handed. Vishnu heard the general shout something like shut up and he made no noise in response, he knew he had made a lot of noise but didn't know why the general hadn't suspected anything. Maybe he was waiting outside the door, and with that Vishnu used the force and jumped back into the vent. he crawled aback to the other vent to see the General now standing up and walking around muttering something. But something else was new, 2 new men stood inside the room next to the door to get in and just sat there looking around. But when Vishnu looked closer they were half asleep and probably were to tired to hear what just happened. More people, he had just gotten rid of three, and if he was right before that left 23 men left making it much more harder on Vishnu. Vishnu now Had to think of another plan of getting the general who looked prepared and also the two guards who stood at the door, they weren't awake but they also weren't asleep and could probably be awaken out of their trance by a yell from the general. Vishnu peared down onto the ground and tried to look for something he could use.

Vishnu watched as the general paced around and Vishnu continued to think about what to do. He had many possibilities, but most of them would either kill the general or ruin his other objective, getting the uniforms. But Vishnu had a couple other ideas and he took the one he thought was the most luckiest one he could do. Vishnu carefully removed the open vented place and waited a few seconds and watched the general. The general seemed to be tired also as his gun drooped to the side and his mumbles couldn't be heard and he looked like he was about to fall asleep. Lucky for Vishnu though he was wide awake as he watched the general go around and around. And then Vishnu's plans went into affect. The general lazily went under the open vent place where Vishnu jumped down and tackled the general onto his back making him utterly surprised and soon he began yelling. Vishnu had to shut him up as he hit the general. The two guards immediately awoke and aimed their blaster rifles at Vishnu getting aim ready. But Vishnu quickly picked up the general, took his weapons and put them to the side, and put him in front, and also Vishnu took out his dagger and put it to the back of the generals head. The soldiers didn't dare shoot at their general just watching with their blaster rifles up.

"What do you want?" One of the soldiers asked.

"Shut up and talk quietly or I'll kill your general." Vishnu said annoyed.

"Why are you here, and what do you want with us?" the other soldier asked quietly.

*Vishnu didn't answer the question and immediately went to the objectives.* "Take off your uniforms now and put them in a pile on the floor. And throw your blaster along also. Now." Vishnu said angrily and he made it look like the black dagger was pushing into the back of the generals head when it wasn't.

*The three men did as asked and stood in their under shirts and shots.* "Why did you want us to do that?" One asked stupidly.

"Shut up. Now tell me how many men you have here guarding the general? And where are they?" Vishnu said talking quietly and fast.

"We have 5 at the General's ship, and 10 here, and 5 on the streets." The stupid one said replying and the other soldier turned his Head side to side knowing his friend was an idiot.

Suddenly Vishnu felt the general fight back and Vishnu lost his grip and the general pushed away. Without thinking Vishnu moved in front of the mens blasters and uniforms. The general stood defenseless, his weapons were behind Vishnu, and his com was broken when Vishnu had jumped on to him. Vishnu made an evil smile and watched the general try to play it cool as he held up his hands defensively. Vishnu reacted by taking out his lightsaber and the general didn't do anything. The two soldier that were standing their soon saw Vishnu rush over to the and slice both of their heads off. They rolled onto the floor, and the blood spitted on the ground, and they weren't wearing their uniforms so thy were fine to the side in a pile. Vishnu looked back at the general who started to go for the blaster but Vishnu ran back to him and drilled him over to the side, and the general tumbled to the side of the room.

"What do you want?" The general said getting up.

"You." Vishnu said getting closer to the general, all Vishnu had to worry about were emn coming in threw the door, but he could still use the geenral as a sheild.

OOC: I thought we were allowed to interfer with each other's RPs, so I guess this is what she ment.

Sin sighed as the meeting was finally over, and rather then actually do all the work, he was going to find the one he thought was the best at what he did. He was following a man with a white clothe over his face, black hair, and a chestplate, hoping this kid would bring him to the General. He followed on the ground, hiding in the shadows with his skin tight all black outfit, making sure he wasn't seen by civilians, while also keeping an eye on the shadow of the roof tops. He watched the man jump down and kill a soldier on the streets, which was rather silly in his opinion. He had heard all he needed to, and let the shadow go. He went into the building, fetched the dead soldier's clothing, and got himself changed. He made sure everything was secure, then started walking down the street to the hotel. If anyone questioned him, his shift was over for the night, and he was going to get a replacement.

He finally reached the Hotel Aldera, only to find that the man he had been following the whole time was already in front of him. He waited, letting the assassin get his information, while at the same time listening, again. You see, when you don't have to do the work, it is so much easier. When the assassin left the man, Sin walked up to the receptionist's desk, obvious of the man's fear. Before the man could cry out, Sin waved a hand at him, as if to say, I got it, it is under control.

"I know. I've been tracking him. Just give me the key to the general's room, and I'll go warn him. I'll call for back up as soon as they guy is out of sight." Sin was a convincing officer, and spoke in a deeper voice then normal, so he wouldn't be revealed.

"Key...Right, here." The man seemed to fumble the key a few times as he grabbed it out of a drawer, then slid it to Sin.

Sin smirked in reply to the man, "Don't worry, everything is alright." Sin turned around once the assassin was out of sight, and he pulled his com link to his mouth, "All troops, be on the look out, we have suspected assassins reported. Beef up security in all areas, soldier number..." He paused for a second, reaching into one of the compartments to grab an I.D. card, "...B5-1701 moving up to General's suite, permission granted?" He questioned whoever was higher in charge, hoping to get an answer.

A com went off in one of the dead mans uniform pockets and Vishnu walked back wards to it and picked it up while keeping an eye on the general. He opened it up and listened to the message.

"...B5-1701 moving up to General's suite, permission granted?" ( copyright of Sin) The man asked from the com.

*Vishnu walked over to the general and handed him the com* "Tell him to get out of here and go to sleep." Vishnu said angrily, he didn't need more people in the way.

"Get to bed, its to late at night for anymore interruptions. I've got plenty of men here now remember 560...." And Vishnu quickly hit him over the head knocking the general out. The general had tried to give him his door number to open it up and Vishnu caught on to it before he gave the last 3 of the 6 numbers.

Vishnu picked up the com and crushed it in his hands, the man wouldn't get in unless he got the last three numbers right and Vishnu would be ready for him if he did get it. Soon Vishnu went to work, he grabbed the three bodies from the bathroom, removed their uniforms and blaster, and coms and put them in the pile. Vishnu put all the dead bodies in the back of the room, and the general lay unconscious in his bed. Vishnu also clogged the toilets, jammed the door with some furniture in the room, and the vent he had gone threw he stuck a lot of crap in it to make sure they didn't go threw that. Vishnu was completely ready for the task at hand and waited to see if the man would come and get him.

Sin waited for a second, basking in what the General was saying. It wasn't making sense. The General knew that there were assassins. He also go cut off...Alright. Game on. "All troops, assassin is in the room with the General, move all troops at once." Sin moved to the turbolift, waiting for all the other troops that could be spared to join him. They arrived at the floor, and Sin had been taking charge at this moment, his hand motioning to the room. He motioned them to place grenades on each side of the door, and then fell back, letting the explosion occur. The hail of bullets should kill the other assassin.

During the fight, Sin cut off his connection to the force, so the other assassin wouldn't know he was still alive. During the fighting, Sin waited for the moment to throw one more grenade, then ducked behind a hallway, blindfiring at the man so that way he was too preoccupied.

It was all a part of Vishnu's plan right there, he thought about it and it was good sicne he knew he couldn't take on 15 soldeirs including the geenrals and the Alderaan's stationed ones. The room waited for the men to come blow open the doors, and they find nothing of Vishnu, the general, and some coms. It came to him when Vishnu had thought about putting stuff in the vents, he knew it was a bad idea and he quickly went in the vent and pushed all the stuff further in and to another open vent where he dumped it into another room where there was no one inside thanks to the general being there. Vishnu was now in the vents crawling and tugging the general along. Vishnu had taken the general's Knapp sack and stuffed the uniforms in it so he wouldn't have to carry them instead he put them in the bag and put it over hsi back. Vishnu had taken the general into the bathroom and into the vents once he heard talking outside the door from soldiers about a soldeir comign in threw clearence. Vishnu lifted thegeenral and the Knapp sack into the vents and he made his way threw the vents going away from the room and towards the way he had come to get up here. He had gone around and soon sinc ehe memerized most of the way he could tell he was pretty close. Vishnu tugged the geenral along pushing him and trying not to make that much of a noise as he pushed him threw. Soon Vishnu foudn the drop to the first floor and he made a sigh of relief a he got ready. Vishnu dropped the Knapp sack first, an then the general feat first, and he watched the the knapp sack fell, and the general fell on top, and Vishnu hoped he hadn't hurt the general more. Vishnu made his way slowly down the vent doing the back against one side of the wall thing and he was soon down form it. Vishnu quickly went back to tugging the general along, along with the Knapp sack threw the vents. He was now on the first floor and all he had to do was get to the outside and make it to the general's ship and he would meet 5 soldiers, take their uniforms, and be out of here. Suddenly an explosion rocked the vents and a small wave of heat went past Vishnu and he knew it came from the 2nd floor in the generals room. Vishnu laughed at the thought where the soldeirs would find 5 half naked men, with 2 of them with their heads cut off. But Vishnu went back into action ignoring the heat and he made his way threw towards the bathroom, as he had remembered it. He would get that man later in his life, but now the mission was at stake. Soon Vishnu looked down into the next vent and a great smile went over his face, he had made it to an even better spot, the vent that was near the fire exit! Vishnu quickly pushed it open and threw his Knapp sack on to the ground. And then he dropped the geenral along with it. Vishnu jumpped down and looked around to see no soldiers guarding this door which was a great sign of comfort for Vishnu. Now he could move more quickly on his feet. He put the general over his shoulder, and the knapsack in his hands and he ran out the fire door and into the night lights. Many people were sceaming at the fire coming from the room, but Vishnu ignored it as he ran into the shadows and out of sight of anyone that would be looking for him.

"I know you can hear me. Ohh, your good...Really good." He opened his com, since, he had gotten all the forces that could be spared, there were still some around, "All men, abandon the facility, and station yourselfs at the exits. We will bring this man down!." In the depths of his mind he was thinking Dance my pawns, dance.

He was in the hallway, since he never actually went in, and quickly ran to the turbolift, with whoever followed. As it reached the buttom floor, the men sprawled out acrossed the complex, covering every exit. K'tal himself stayed inside, waiting for the troops to find him, and kill him. Once they reported him, Sin quickly ran, grabbed the General in the midst of it, and escaped back inside, "Call a speeder, get us out of here!"

He went to the speeder out front, and motioned in, "Follow the fire fight. I'll get him out of here." He slumped the General in the back, and took off in the speeder, headed back to the home base.
