A Brand New Day (Invitation)

[Triune]

"I showed you what I meant. My people do not often use words to communicate such concepts." He sighs as the event obviously disoriented him some as well. "Now do you see? Now do you understand at least a little bit?"

[Lady Zahra/Jules]

*She backed away from him until she felt the chair behind her and lowered herself to it. Never had she even experienced something like that.*

"I....I don't understand it. I saw it, but....what was it?"

*She looked at him questioningly but wasn't trying to seduce him any longer. Instead, he had unlocked a side few ever had seen before....the innocence and curiosity that resembled a childs.*

[Triune]

"These are the Ripples I meant. The flashes of future events that I can feel... Some Ripples bring pain, others bring pleasure, others still bring confusion. My people have suffered from these ripples since our earliest memories. We have learned that they can be adjusted, weakened and even stopped altogether if an event is altered at a specific time." He takes a seat himself hoping these words help explain better.

[Lady Zahra/Jules]

"You sound like a force-user. They believe the Force draws them to situations to resolve conflict or restore justice...or free those who have been enslaved."

*The last words weren't meant to be uttered aloud, but they slipped out as she thought. Catching herself, she sat upright.*

"How do you know what action to take. There seemed to be no direction in what you've shown me...unless your kind train you in some manner...yet I've come across none like you before."

*The words were mixed with appreciation and almost fascination.*

[Triune]

"I have read of these Jedi, they rely far too much on their weapons and their technology then themselves. We are taught at an early age to listen to the ripples, they reveal what must be done to stop the greatest suffering be it ensuring a ship does not leave a port, a Person be sent down a different street or that one needs to die. From all that I've read the Jedi believe in only light. Another weakness."

[Lady Zahra/Jules]

"So now what. You were drawn to me because of these ripples you have seen, but you've killed all that held me back...against my wishes I might add....though you did it for the greater good. Why now do you still seek me out then?"

*She puts her hands on her lap and leans forward while spreading her legs a bit so her elbows can rest on them comfortably.*

[Triune]

*He sighed. He knew the rest would open him up to her scorn and it made him seem weak in his own view... He owed her the full truth. It was something the Elders harranged him about before he left, half-truths are not truths.... He looked up at her.*

"I know no one else, I do not feel comfortable around others. Do not ask me why I feel this way but it is the truth. You are the only person I knew I could go to that would not cast me aside as I deserved."

[Lady Zahra/Jules]

*It was that bit of revelation to her that broke something inside of her. Sitting still without knowing how to respond to that, she just simply looked back at him into his eyes. She could see his hatred for revealing this about him to her, but also what could possibly be a sense of relief as well. Lowering her eyes and then sitting back in the chair, she let out a sigh and kept her hands on her thighs.*

"We're a fine pair, you and I. Neither really belong anywhere but from what we've known. We're from two different worlds but yet we share something. Why is that? A cruel joke of the elementals you think?"

[Triune]

"We are all made of the same star stuff and it is known to no one where pieces of same whole will fall... My mother use to say that. It applies well I think. I am relieved that you do not see me as weak..."

[Lady Zahra/Jules]

*She laughed lightly.*

"Weak? How you managed to kill Vugga and his minions and based upon how you eat, you are far from a weak man. Very far indeed."

*She slowly gets to her feet and moves closer to him. Her hands move down to his as she steps in between his own and wraps his arms around her. One hand then moves away and pulls his chin up to face her as the other caresses his cheek.*

"If this is weak, then more should be this weak. There is a strength in you that I've seen in no other. I'm drawn to it in fact. You scare me and excite me."

[Triune]

*His body, always warmer than those of humans warms more with her closeness. He meets her gaze with his own, evenly and focused.*

"You speak like Sendris herself. Your fire, your determination, your will.... It is as if you are the Progenatoress Reborn."

[Lady Zahra/Jules]

*His words cause her to smile as she leans down to his lips letting hers come close until they are almost touching. As she speaks, he can feel her moist breath hit his skin.*

"I hope that's a compliment."

*Her words were low and seductive. It was clear where she was turning this whole conversation. Before he could respond though, she brought her lips to meet his in a soft kiss but pulls away before he can get fully into it. Leaning back up, she looks into his face to gauge his response. Her next move would be dependant upon that.*

[Triune]

*He is aroused by her words and actions, he would not be a functional male if he weren't. The kiss only added more fire to his desire. His desire for her is tempered with his concern for her and of all things their growing friendship. He caressed her cheek closing his eyes, letting that last fetter of hesitancy go, not hiding anymore, letting her feel his emotions. Far easier than letting her see as he does*

[Lady Zahra/Jules]

*She smiled at his reaction and took one hand pushing him backwards against the seat while she moved to sit atop him. One hand went up to brush the hair away from his face and neck while the other caressed his chest.*

"Perhaps I can show you a way to let go and we can share a tender moment. A moment where two from different worlds become one. Let me help you relax."

*It was one perk of her job. She couldn't act without permission to do so. What still hadn't sunk in was that she was no longer bound by the Trandoshan's rules. It was what kept her world in line....slavery to others.*

[Triune]

"As long as that moment brings to you tenderness and relaxation."

*He rests his hands on her hips, his face still a mix of arrousal and focus. There is relief in his heart that she accepted who and what he was, it would have been difficult to return to the isolation of his solitary ways.*
