"Of course, I did not mean to pry. Yes, I am a Padawan. Those who are accepted into the Order as children are called Younglings. When you have reached the right age, you petition the Jedi Council for a Master to continue your training. You are then known as a Padawan. Once you have advanced enough from there, you become a Jedi Knight and then a Master. The training is most difficult, but to be a Jedi is to live a life of sacrifice. I have only recently begun my training. My Master is one of the senior Council members. I hope with enough training I can one day join the Council."

A very similar way to our own. I began my training as a Brother of the Order of Light at a very young age. I was only fourty-six when I left my home to join the Order. I trained for the rest of my life and fifty years ago I left the Order and begun my journey. Following a path such as ours is trying at times, but you will find that it enriches your life. Keep to your teachings and one day you may be on your Council.

It took a moment before Mhelin's statement registered. "Forty-six? How old are you? You cannot be human to have started your training at such an age! I thank you for your encouragement though. Master Nor-Lek is a wonderful teacher. I hope to be half the Jedi he is someday."

Kapar'in grew quiet for a moment as he watched some speeders fly past the gardens. Turning back to Mhelin, he asked "Can you tell me about the Order of Light? Is it similar to the Jedi?"

*Mhelin smiled. In his travels he had found much amusement in the fact that his race had an average life span of five thousand years.*
On the seventh passing of the moon of my world I will be one thousand eight hundred and fourty-six years of age, and I am still young.
*He waited for a moment to see the reaction.*
There are different sects of the Order of Light. I am a Monk, there are also Knights, Spirit Guardians and Necromancers. The dark ones I spoke of earlier are the Necromancers. We Monks focus on healing and protection on a spiritual level. All the sects have a variation of a standard weapon.
*He took something not that different from a lightsaber from inside his robe.*
This is the light blade. I use the short hilted blade, but others of my kind use lances and long blades. I prefer to use Powers of Light in battle however.
*He ignited the blade and a short pale blue blade thrummed forth.*

Kapar'in's eyes bulged out when Mhelin mentioned his age. He felt no trickery coming from him, so Kapar'in had no reason to doubt his statement. ON the contrary, many species had long life spans. But to be young at 1,846! Incredible! "I cannot imagine how much you have learned in such a long life time. And to still be young! Your Monk sect sounds similar to our Jedi Healers. And your weapon is similar to our lightsaber." Drawing his training saber, he ignited it, a bright blue blade hissing into existance. "This is only a training saber. Once I have trained more, I will construct my own lightsaber. It would seem we have much in common Mhelin."

Indeed we do Kapar'in.
*He disengaged his blade and tucked away in his robe. He stood up without seeming to shift his weight and bowed.*
It has been a long day for me and I have learned much from our talk. But now I must find rest and meditation. I fear that my journey may only have just begun.
*He bows once more and says in his native language.*

Kapar'in Va stood as well and retruned Mhelin's bow. "I bed you good luck on your Journey Mhellin. If there is anything I can do to assist you during your stay here on Coruscant, feel free to contact me here at the Jedi Temple. They will know where to find me. May the Force be with you."

Kapar'in watched for a moment as the stranger walked off. After a moment he turned and walked back to his favorite tree to continue meditating.

*After having rested and attuned his senses to the flow of the planet, Mhelin returns to the Jedi gardens to learn more of the Jedi ways.*

*On the other side of Coruscant, Scar had landed in her sleek black fighter. She kept to the shadows, it was hard not to be noticed when you are sinisterly attractive. She had been to the crystal caves in the dune seas of Tattooine and found a more powerful coloured crystal for her light sword, and now she needed to find a place she could fit it.*

*Mhelin sat under a tree and began to meditate. Deep under the hum of the planet and the constant roar of the flow of life he sensed something on the other side of the world. It was very feignt and was trying not to be found. Could this be what he had left his secluded world for?*

*Velis found an abandoned workshop with a functional workbench. She took out her lighsword hilt, usually she would use her powers to refurbish it but she was trying to go unnoticed so she did it manually. After removing the blood red crystal that gave it it's current colour, she took out the new crystal. She focused on the new crystal, attuning it to her flow of energy. After almost half an hour it had turned a dark green colour and she fitted it into the hilt and reassembled it.*


ooc: i need someone to either join Velis or Mhelin here, preferably a Force user, any volunteers?

ooc: well seems as no-one else is joining i suppose you can, choose who you are going to help. Mhelin is light and Velis is dark. Mhelin is in the Jedi gardens and Velis is in an abandoned workshop in a downtrodden part of Coruscant.

*Jon walked through downtown toward his favorite cantina. At least when he was on Coruscant. He continued on down the street, thinking about his visions of this Jedi, when he stumbled upon the abandoned workshop. Usually, he would just walk by, but this time, he noticed something strange, the lights were on. Jon figured either someone had bought the place, and was working to try and bring it back to life, or someone was hiding out in there. He brought out his blaster, and switched it on, as he decided to take a look.*

*Mhelin remained in the gardens at the Jedi Temple and meditated.*

*Scar turned around after fitting the new crystal to her lighsword and heard the shuffling of feet outside. She kept close to the wall and with her lightsword in her right hand she switched the lights out. She had always been able to see better in the dark and prefered not to be seen at the moment.*

*Jon had gotten a few feet from the door, when he saw the lights go out. He tucked his blaster back away, and brought out his 2 vibroswords. He saw that the door was closed. Jon could always knock it down, he had done it before, but Jon knew whoever was inside was expecting it. Jon saw a lader heading to the roof, so he put his vibrosowrds back in their holsters, and began to climb.*
