[Masuko / Luna]

*A man appearing to be a monk or Jedi departs from a transport ship on Coruscant and begins to walk around rather aimlessly. He eventually makes his way to the Jedi grounds and looks out over the gardens.*

*The man leans against a guard rail in deep thought.*
I wonder if any of them could have come here. It's far too busy here. Too many people, too many minds. The planet is a rush with power. Unsettled. Even I am finding it hard to concentrate on the flow here.

[Masuko / Luna]

*The man closes his eyes and attempts to concentrate. If there were any more of his kind here he should be able to sense them, but on this planet it might be hard. He can usually sense them while in orbit but there are so many life forms in this sector alone he might have to explore the planet more. He prefered to not stay in one place for too long. He had a mission and it must remain secret.*

*He could sense something in the back of his mind. This place was peacefull and light flowed freely here. He almost felt as though he was back on Yalara but he had to focus. He opened his eyes and went down into the gardens.*

[Kapar'in Va]

Taking a break from his training with Jedi Master Nor-Lek, Kapar'in had wandered out into the gardens to get some fresh air. While sitting under a tree, he had watched a strange man wander into the area. He seemed to be searching for something. Rising to his feet, he approached the stranger.

"Is there anything I can help you with? You seem to be searching."

[Masuko / Luna]

*He turns around and looks up at the building that stands over the gardens.*
I wonder who the masters of this Temple are. Are they followers of the Light as I am or did they build here because of the natural flow of energy? I need to find out more.

[Masuko / Luna]

*He snaps out of his thoughts at hearing a voice. He turns and looks at the 'alien'.*
I appologise. I do find it hard to concentrate on this planet. I am Mhelin.
*He bows slightly.*

[Kapar'in Va]

Returning the bow, the Togruta replies "I am Kapar'in Va. I am a Padawan here at the Jedi Temple. Is there anything I can help you with?"

[Masuko / Luna]

*Mhelin's head tilts slightly in confusion.*
Jedi? I do not know the Jedi. I am afraid I am from a most distant planet. It has taken me almost fifty years to reach this world. Please tell me more.
*He motions towards the shade of a tree and he kneels down in one movement.*

[Kapar'in Va]

Joining the stranger under the shade of the tree, Kapar'in looked over the stranger. A quick query through the Force told him that the stranger meant no ill will. "You have never heard of the Jedi? You must be from far away indeed." Kapar'in wondered where to begin. The history of the Jedi Order spanned millennia. He decided to give a quick summary.

"The Jedi Order was founded thousands of years ago. They have been the guardians of the Galaxy since...since they were founded." (ooc: my character will go over key highlights of the Jedi's history. I am not going to type them because I am a spaz on the keyboard...)

After he had finished with his brief history lesson, he looked at the stranger again. "Where are you from that you have not heard of the Jedi?"

*Mhelin listened intently as he learned the history of the Jedi Order. After Kapar'in had finished he thought for a moment before answering his question. He could not reveal where he was from, but he knew this person could be trusted, to some extent.*
I am from a world far on the edge of this galaxy. My world has only been touched by your Force in recent history, and i believe that they were not members of your Order.

[Kapar'in Va]

Mhelin's response threw Kapar'in for a second. Other Force users? If it had been the Jedi, there would have been a record of the planet in the Archives. Did he mean the Dark Jedi? Kapar'in could think of no other Force users in the galaxy. "Did these Force users say where they were from? How did they act?"

[Masuko / Luna]

*This was a touchy subject for Mhelin. He had not been there at the time, but he had seen the destruction rought on his home city.*
It was over three hundred and seventy five standard years ago. They came to the largest city and brought destruction. That was the first time they came. The last time they came they were fewer in number and wanted only one thing. We have always been a secretive people and remain so after the terrible destruction of our Great Temple.

[Kapar'in Va]

That could only be the Dark Jedi. No servant of the light would do something like that. He couldn't remember if the Dark Jedi existed back then. They must have. There would always have been balance in the Force; a Dark Side to counter the Light. Kapar'in strained to recall if anything had ever been mentioned in his history classes, but nothing came to mind.

"That is terrible. It most certainly sounds like the work of Dark Jedi, fallen ones from our Order. So, what brings you all the way to Coruscant?"

[Masuko / Luna]

*There were those on his home world that walked a dark path also, but they were still followers of the Light, most often than not, they were the strongest of their kind.*
I do appologise that I am unable to reveal the reason for my journey. I am only one of few that have left my world in the past four hundred years. Please, I would know more of the Jedi. You introduced yourself as a pad'wan?
