Ok people the first thing that comes into ones head when they sit down to watch revenge of the sith is one of complete and utter excitement, the smell of 5 year olds eating there own weight in sweets, the geeky old star wars fans like my and banging on about what they were doing when they went to see a new hope all adds to the atmosphere.
Once the credits come up everyone cheered there hearts out in the cinema and I was certainly one of them, The wording of the credits is slightly pants but it adds to the dramatic affect of the film that follows. Right of from the start the space battle has elements of both the death star battle the gentle battle the massive explosions it is all fantasic but I Didn't like the look of the clone fighters to rebellion like for my liking and the fact that the clones still have jango’s accent was a little silly. Once the jedi hit the invisible hand the feel of the film is still very much that of the prequels amazing action with lightsabers and the occasional dialogue piece that made me cringe but the feel was still there and I greatly enjoyed it, general grievous was veyr interesting in my oppion his voice and stare and his stance had a creppy feel to it that I enjoyed.
Once the cruiser had landed in a hellish fireball of separatist fury the feel of the film slowed down slightly that was needed to compensate for the senses being blown to kingdom come, The dialogue between padme and anakin was right on the spot and the conflict between obi-wan and anakin in there conversations was well written and acted. Once the general sith lord plot has been illuminated the film goes at a hundred miles an hour mace and the temple destroyed the jedi killing across the galaxy it all sets the mood for the rest off the film, The separatist destruction just adds to the darkness of the film and the fact that obi-wan and yoda are bust doing there thing keeps the film going to the final confrontations, the final lightsaber battle are immense and the best in my view obi-wan shows of his skills as does anakin and it is damn fun to watch as is the showing of mighty force powers between everyone’s favourite little green man and the darkest sith ever.
The only problems I have is grievous was frankly pointless despite his cool points and the mace-sidious duel seemed a little to short, The dead wookies were hard to look at as was the jedi slaughter but all in all this film challenges esb for my fav of all time see this movie people it will blow your jedi robes off.
