Sidious seemed to know an awful lot about Plagus and he seemed smug when he said that his apprentice killed him in his sleep and that all his knowledge couldnt keep him from dying. Also later when he admits to Anakin he knows the darkside he says that he learned about the information about saving people from dying from his master... something which he said Plagus did during the opera scene.
Also on another note... does anyone find the fact that Palpatine said that Plagus could control midichlorians to create life a little suspicious? I think that he may have been the one that concieved Anakin through the force.... just a suspicion...

That was a story created by Palpatine as temptation to Anakin. "He can save Padme"

I know but it's not a EU story since they talked about it in ROTS What I meant was they could expand on the legend in a EU book |

eh... whatever.... it was a good idea at the time i thought.... but oh well... Well... the origional idea was that Palpatine learned the "power" from Plagueis and created Anakin... but it was too much of an "Im your father" moment, so Lucas scrapped it. |
