Many of people like me for instance would love to finish up what I started. Ending, the old RP only because the staff thought it was for the good of the board was a wise choice indeed.
1) First off. Many of the characters in my mind of the old plot story had been way on being to powerful in my mind. ( People like Adena,Kyra,Lirreka and a few others) If your like really powerful like to the max whats the whole point on RPing when you don't allow others to have fun as well.
2) Most of the old members played to much of an important role and most of the staff as well. This not really allowing new members to join in. (Every one wants a piece of the pie.)
3) Way to many battles and astonishment going on. Example: The sith rebellion. As I saw it every one like hated one another for every action they took on what side they play in. To much hatred over just a game of fun
4) New Era. I think the old RP got tired some. We had like the same faction leaders for like ever. I think it had been very neat that we got new faction leaders.
( Except for the mandalorians
J/k)
5) Not last but not least. New characters. Some not saying all, got excited over this new RP Era. Now we can start over and begin to RP in the new time ERA with new characters.
In my opinion the staff should of had a POLL on this whole situation with the character and Time Era thing. For its the people that make up this RP not the
people in power (PIP). The PIP just have the power in control as well as they are the police and we are the prisoners in society.
As this quote as been said several of times before. Your character would be in the age around in the 80's. Meaning you don't have much time to live in expansion of life in the star wars of the RP galaxy. Their is no real meaning to continue your story and wouldn't fit in the new time Era of the RP. IF people are really concern about your character and what happen to them. You should write a story in the Fan Works finishing off your character history story.
Edit: Also, I'm just proving a point not really an answer. Just look at it in a sense of the way I see it.
