Well, like I said. I would have like to see the Jedi assuming the roles of General within the Republic and lead their armies into battle. I thought it could have added a strategical aspect to the RP but yeah. I'll talk to another administrator about this.

Let me comment on that first. Jedi are not supposed to assume the roles of Generals. They did that during the Clone War because they had to. It is not their place to be leading armies into battle. They are supposed to be negotiators.

In BOTH wars, they fizzled out by the end cuz no one posted in them anymore and people were left clueless as to what the result was so the Admins had to make a decision that upset some people and we don't want any of that. Plus, cheap RPing occured like crazy in wars with people refusing to acknowledge attacks or dodging attacks that should be impossible to avoid. So we decided no wars. If there ever was a war it would definitely be highly watched for fairness.

that was the problem - noone watched it enough. if we were going to return to war (merely hypothetical), i think the team would have to recruit about five war mods to prevent cheapness. the admins and gmods can't be everywhere.

The Jedi only became Gentrals because of two things:

1) The Clones could not think as greatly as a Jedi Knight or Master, because they were clones and took orders only.

2) Most of the time a Jedi became a genral was when they were being attack by droids on Coruscant and were over run by droids so the Jedi had to take control and se the force to help themselves and the clones.

Well to be honest, no war is plainly unrealistic. Anyone can create a fighting force and wage war, that is the simple fact of that matter.

I would say that small inter system wars would be very common and a good way for people to experience combat, but Galactic Wars should be reserved for special occasions.
