Smaaaaart....
Anyway:
NO!
I have to have more than one character or I die!
And do not limit characters........I like having lots and lots of characters (generally most of them are either independant or Jed...or Sith...or somethin.)

Yeah, I think limiting characters is a bad idea as well. In the old RP, I was trying to use only one, to make him really powerful, but then every once in a while something happened... and I was stuck not posting for a while. I went one month waiting for someone, and if I jumped in a new RP, my statis was 'having half your leg chewed off'. Not good.

Let me say I strongly disagree with the idea of a rule restricting the number charecters. Some of us might not have other people to role play with. So the only way is to have your side charecters. After all, its not like it is nessasaraly a compitition, so much as it is role playing. Thus I see no valid reason to have a charecter limit.

there are ups and downs to limiting characters.
only one cahracter means that everyone will try to be very powerful, or they get bored and just kill them and create a new one
having more than one means that it's easier to rp, if one of them is in rp limbo (waiting for someone to return) then you can rp with another character.
persoally i like having two characters to rp with, the most i have used is four and that was hard!

I've had six...barf...that was retarded...I think we should limit it to two....otherwise...you could have like six jedi and have a small army of jedi....

yeah, I suppose it could get carried away. Maybe 2 characters could be the limit for newer members and once they have RPed enough to show that they could handle it, they could add another one if they chose.

We will have to discuss it but thats a good idea. Limiting characters based on rp experience would be good. It would be like 2 characters (including primary) for brand new RPers and we would go on from there with people like Lirr, Adena, Kelly, Sabre, me (even though i wont use more than 2), etc. (aka the more experienced players as decided upon by admins) could have up to like 5. Anymore than 5 (including primary character) i think is ridiculous.

Well I have only ever had 1 main character (well two if you count Mr Marcus but he was really just Adamis's b!tch) so this likely not affect me but I can see how you can be a little pissed off when some people don't use different coloured text for different characters but I think multi-characters are good. If we really wanted to restrict numbers I would say have a max of 3. That way you can have more than one but not have it entirely out of hand like Bo with a whole family (sorry dude you were the only one I could think of). But as I said I am happy with the way it is now.

If you'll notice, I never RPed with most of them for more than a week or two, so I only really had AJ and Bo as my main Madet Characters. I'm trying to stick with two now, With the Old AJ making a Cameo Appearance every now and then.
