Character Birthdays?

simple proposition - figure out what the general roleplaying scale is to real time, then figure out the proper amount of birthdays. This can be placed in character profiles as real time dates.

this idea came to me as my next character is going to be brought up from the rough age of ten, so i need something like this for depth.

The date of when his profile is made could be the 'Birthday' of your character...

yeah, but the thing is time passes faster in the RP than in the real world. I need to figure out how fast so i can make the appropriate amount of birthdays.

Well, then just add 6 months onto his profile creation day (That being a year) and your scott free ^_^ (Do NOT ask me about how many days in a month... 365/2 I don't know)

This is now the time progression rate, so every 4 months he would age a year, roughly.
