restrictions on force powers...

Now THAT is the first time I ever heard of that rule and I mean it.

All the force powers make up have been PMed to Adena - If she doesn't oppose I'm happy enough to use them ^_^
I prefer to not post the force powers Ashido knows until he uses them, but that is just me (And when the post it is used in finishes)

I think it would be easier to restrict/limit force powers if we switched to a d20 system. Well, if d20 is at all like AD&D rules. Magic users had their number of spells limited by level, which would probably not be too hard to adapt for Force Powers. But then, we get back into the whole do we switch to d20 or not...

Well to say there is no way you can make your own force powers is just unreasonable, a lot of people have been able to craft their own abilities to suit themselves. However everything has its disadvantages. Noren.s Orb of Light power is like a ball of anti-darkside, if it hits a darkside users skin then their force benefits dry up, however it doesn’t work if they use a lot of lightside force because they have that to fall back on and it can be dodged fairly easily so no one would ever let it hit them anyway. I’m trying to think of ways that we could maybe incorporate D20 Skills and Feats into play without people having to play D20.

I think that if you make up a force power, and can rp it approiatley, then go ahead and use it. but no one cares about what i think so.... hehe

there should be retrictions, but we shouldn't be limited to certain kinds of powers, just no unrealistic shit like teleporting from one planet to another or auto sheilding and shit of that nature

Or at least, describe your powers well in your rp. Its weird just someone having, he used force rupture and blew up the pillar to crush the sith troops... Its like, describe what the heck the power consists of and on what your character focuses to execute such a feat to make it clear that it isn't just something coming out of the blue to get you out of a death situation.
