lol, yeah, modifiers arnt that hard really, they are basically little extras you get because of a specilised skill, or weapon, cloathing they can make or break a role sometimes..

One example is when I was fighting Sables little spirit form of Nikita, Earlier I had botched a defence, and Vieas cybernetic leg got fried, well on a defense later that requited her her to move she suffered a loss

the semi malfunctioning leg was not responding to thought so well, so I ended up taking a -3 penelty

when you DO use a modifier you need to use the normal {rand} command, then add the + or - , then hit post, to see your roll, then hit modify to add the total

I'll let kelly post more on that, but basically everything can get a minus. like shooting into the dark and you dont have night vision, or making two moves, like a running flip, and shooting,, that normally means a penalty because well, honestly its a really hard thing to do
