and the tricky part with that their lass is the fact that there are hundreds or differant d20 rules, NOT just the one that those bastartd at WOTC use * Im still pissed about Hazbro buying TSR,, and now the "core" systems is rife with propaganda that their way is the only way, which is BS

Yep..but what does D20 matter here? Nobody uses it in RP's..

I use it quite abit too, The battle I had against the Jedi woman in the senate chamber is a perfect example of a Dice based combat

ultimatly, for the majority of play, which is more story based, there is no reason to need it, I prefer mainly to use it as a combat/force useing check, because its realistic, even the most well trained Masters botch their abilities now and then, or slip up a defence, or attack,,, and it puts that element of chance in their.

and it sorta help in the fighting of another characters, and even NPC's honestly because no beguining level of anything could go killing off abunch of anything with moderate training, and ALOT of people still forget that and sorta push that ability abit...

I also like useing it for some skills, like moveing silently, or sneeking up on someone, or past a guard..again because there is that chance I screw up..

Like in ROTJ when Han is sneeking up on the Scout trooper, and was doing fine until he stepped on that twig..THAT would be a bad roll, a random chance of nature..
