Make a sub board called "Roleplay school" and teach the newbs to roleplay correctly. I could teach.

This is an idea I've always liked....((And suggested more than once)) But it was always beat down with the thought that it would be a waist of time, because what they were doing there could be done in real rp....or some such thing. |

Interesting but if you ask me, one cannot 'teach' role-playing, maybe the basics but that’s about it.
If you ask me, personal style comes in with experience. I *try* to limit my posts to a 10 second time span or less in RP time (Hehe, try).
Trying to copy Lirr in her style (Adena or any other major RPer here) won't give you any skill you will just be a mimic. If anything the biggest way to learn is set limits ‘100 words here and no less’ for example but that is just me.

I just guess to some people it comes naturally... I just learned by watching the people on LA do it, and I pretty much got the idea from that.
