Most Powers Are pretty fair game, you should post them here, or PM them to me, and I'll look them over
On Force Powers there are a few simple rules I personally tend to follow;
I Dont like the * this is how you push* style one it does not teach you HOW to be a Jedi,or Sith, and it limits your ability, Rather I opt for a lecturing sorta thing, Like:
Reach out with your thoughts, feel the force about you, touch the " box" with your mind, feel how the Force interacts with it, focus until you get a clear image in your mind, invision the Force about it as if your own hands see yourself moving it
Or A very important History lesson like this: " Today my students, I wanted to teach you about The Ancients, the First order...the FIRST force users... two thousand years ago the first order was established by unknown persons, some rumors suggest that it may have been Massassi, or perhaps corellians, reguardless, they passed their knowledge on, each generation learning more and developing new meathods to reach ultimate knowledge...As the generations past these grops became the Order...individuals who used their knowledge to act as peacekeepers in the galaxy. However, within thier knowledge lay the seeds of their distruction. Early on the Order realized the differances between the lightside, and the Darkside of the force; They emphisized the importance of following the path of light. For some, the warnings were not enough, and the temptations too great, enevitably some Jedi embraced the Darkside and used their powers to bring evil to the galaxy.
" Such tragic events endured in jedi lore. One of these events happened no more than 30 years ago, the Fall of the Jedis Exar Kun, and Ulic Qel-Droma, thus bringing about the Great Sith Wars, which ended tragically when Kun was finally defeated on the jungel moon of Yavin four, in an assult led by Nomi Sunrider, cay Qel-Droma, and Vodo Vaas..which leads us to today, still recovering from such assults......Think on this, and tell me, Why would a Jedi choose to follow a path that ends in a violent death?...was it the Jedi's fault, was it the Master who trained him who is to blame? or was it something else?"
Though I normally am more "cryptic, or poetically discriptive" this above teaching DOES still deal with a more tame Jedi mind set, being at peace with the object... And basically once you learn how to reach out and manipulate an object with the force, you in reality will pretty much automatically learn other feats..
This is called manipulate , or Alter/control.. Push ,pull, lift throw, Wave object,, And even things like Feather fall and other skills ALL come from this same teaching about feeling how the force interacts with yourself and others..
Same goes with alot of other powers....And Your Powers should only be as good as your Master teaches you about the force.. It is not their job to teach powers,m THAT is a self taught thing, its learning to feel the force, see it, the moral, and philosophical views, and History.. That is what a TRUE Master teaches, and I think that both Factions are missing that, though with sith it is alittle easier, most sith are pretty much aware of using there emotions to get a stronger control, there need is learning the responcibility of use.. Because over useing power CAN and will be felt across the Galaxy by other force users..
There is my rant
