Chapter 1
Devlen was born on onderon to Devlen Darkbroode I, and Kyosuke Darkbroode. he had one sister, and two brothers, (one who died before devlen, during the Asrathanade, or the second dematri civil war.) devlen's brother Ranka is 12 years younger than Devlen, and their sister, Nara Darkbroode, is 41 years Older than devlen. during his childhood, devlen and ranka would travel throughout the capitol city, and take lessons at the local military academy. they both learned marksmanship, swordsmanship, and battle tactics. when devlen was 63, (the equivilent of a human 7 year old), Onderon fell under attack by the sith. Devlen's sister was on coruscant at the time, devlen and ranka escaped the attack, but were abducted by the sith who were patrolling the destroyed city when the two went back to find their parents. Devlen and his brother were taken onboard and forced to be slaves, ranka, being much more disobedient, was left to die on a thought to be remote planet. devlen continued to work as a slave until he was rescued by the jedi
chapter 2
After devlen was rescued from the sith, he was excepted into the order. because of his dematrian bloodline, he was instantly a great force user, and he outlived all of his teachers. he rose through the ranks, he refused to leave his padawan stage until he had perfected most all areas of the force... and during his time as a Knight, he mastered the higher levels of the force. but, because of devlen's powers.... jealousy arose in the council... a group of straying jedi masters began to worry that devlen would replace them in the council, their only option was to eliminate him...
Devlen was walking back to the enclave after landing on dantooine, after a successful mission on rhen var, (this particular mission sparked devlen's love of Rhen Var Ice Vodka) when he was suddenly attacked by several masked jedi. within minutes, they were all down, taken out by devlen's awesome powers...
30 years afterwards, devlen had become an elite Knight, a rank Few ever reached. he trained a few padawans in groups, and was about to become a master and he also had a seat on the jedi counsel waiting for him. he had but one more mission before he could become a master...
137 year old devlen set out on his final Jedi Knight mission. he was ordered to escort a large supply of kolto, bacta, weapons, droids, medics, and a few dozen vehicles, to correllia, where the sith had unexpectedly attacked.
halfway to the battle, the ship was attacked, devlen was brought near death, and then transported to a medical facility orbiting Manaan in a comotose state...
Chapter 3
devlen was kept in the lab station for 56 years, at the time, it seemed that no ammount of kolto could cure him, ever. many jedi tried to aid him, but whenever they did, the darkside became present in devlen, and they feared that ressurecting him would only bring out a monster they could not possibly handle...
unfortunately, the sith lord Exar Kun felt this dark energy as well... he called devlen to him, his minions kidnapped him and brought him back to kun, where through a sith necromancy ritual, devlen's body was reanimated. devlen was thrown into a meditation chamber, and left for near 31 years... devlen emerged a changed man, and soon he became exar kun's personal apprentice...
he had already met kun before, he had served under him as a slave until he was rescued by the jedi. even then, kun tried to train him, but devlen's pure heart fought him, until it was tainted with evil and malice...
Chapter 4
WHen Exar Kun was struck down by the Nem'Vaa Master, Kel Kerbaz, Devlen assumed his master's position as Dark Lord of the Sith. Nothing much was established during this reign except the ravaging of Kashyyyk, and one of the Dantooine Moons. Devlen became bitter enemies with the jedi during this period, after Enraging the Jedi Mistress Eliatra Sabre by this gruesome acts of slaughtering the Wookies of Kashyyyk. But soon, devlen's reign was brought to an end when Exar Kun was ressurected, right before the jedi attacked the Sith stronghold on Yavin IV. Devlen, along with other sith, brought death to possibly a dozen jedi. ELiatra Sabre was amoung these jedi, But, eliatra was brought back to life by devlen's Niece, Neena Darkbroode, Daughter to Nara Darkbroode, devlen's sister (who was brutally murdered on Coruscant by her Half Dematri Lover, Jarin Guilen). Eliatra was brought back to life, and married her long time lover Kit Rendar. Devlen decided to rebel against kun, bringing him to his knees. Kun then Relinquished his title, and devlen banished him. Devlen was the dark lord again, but, due to a long absense (devlen was dealing with some personal issues on the moon of Onderon, Saitarus II) Cyris Beretta became Dark Mistress of the Sith and devlen was thought to be dead until he returned and served under Cyris.
Chapter 5
After serving under cyris for a few Months, Cyris decided to attack the Planet of Manaan, because the Jedi were Harvesting Kolto there and they had a small enclave set up in that location apparently. Cyris brought manaan near destruction, and because of devlen's help, it became a sith world.
Devlen soon started to fall in love with cyris, but because of the Efforts of Jeffery Shan, Devlen was too late to explain to cyris how he felt. the jedi knight wooed cyris into marrying him, and they had one child.
before the child was born, cyris left jeffery and he was enraged, thinking she left him for devlen, so in a fit of blind fury, he assaulted cyris where she told him she was pregnant. Jeffery and cyris then ran off, to have the child, but after the baby was born, cyris Married Devlen, and brought the baby with her. The Girl, Erica, was raised as a dematri Princess, and devlen thought of her as his own daughter, rather than Shan's.
Cyris and Devlen led a beautiful life from the dematri palace, they were a good couple, and they ran both the sith and the dematri with an iron fist... until the ajeras attacked the moon of Saitarus II...
Chapter 6
After the attack, the palace was in ruins, and cyris was deeply distressed, she departed to search for her daughter, and devlen stayed behind... it was during this time that devlen whent into a state of sadness... and he isolated himself from the world, for a few years... the dematri faded from memory, and the universe was restored...
chapter 7
12 years had past since devlen entombed himself on korriban... he sealed himself in the shrine of a sith god, and he meditated for 12 years, losing his sanity and health due to lack of food and water... he slowly expired, and was brought near death....
and it was then that devlen donned the mask of the prohet... the seer of the dematri and grand warlock of the sith... as the prophet he confronted darth woe, the dark lord of the sith, and won his title after nearly destroying korriban with the ancient sith arts...
Devlen trained a new generation of sith, especially a very bright pupil by the name of Sin, later to be called invidius.
Chapter8
devlen's rule over the sith was shortlived... cyris returned for a time and killed her husband, and he was brought back to life by the mysical powers of the dematri and the force... he was revived, but due to suspicion, he was slaughtered again by Matron Adena Quel-Droma of the Jedi Knights, but nearly moments after devlen was killed, he was spotted in a cantina on the outskirts of the outer rim... this devlen claimed to be a knight of the Lue'Zhan and helped the jedai rid iziz of the dematri remnants in iziz. he then trained ranka in the ways of the lue'zhan and then fused with devlen's soul, and devlen controlled his own body again.
Chapter 9
devlen stumbled upon a large Lue'Zhan ship on a trip beyond the outer rim, it was filled with ancient dematri hexalon weapons, that were outlawed by the republic more than 2 thousand years ago. Devlen used the hexalon missiles to attack jedi ships, and soon devlen regained his position in the universe. Devlen then abandoned his craft, when he was about to launch a strike on Dark Empress Viea, and he left the galaxy to explore the depths of the universe.
Chapter 10
Devlen returns from his trip and tries to rejoin the order, in a mission to save a captured jedi, he is captured and tortured by his pupil invidius, and then returns to the darkside and aids invidius in the sith civil war, but after recent developments, devlen has recalled his troops and confronted invidius on Tattooine, to try to sway him to devlen's new cause...
