Name: Eliatra Sabre-Rendar, El or Eli to her friends

Weapon: Two single-blade blue-silver lightsabres with powerful crystals in them, modified to the best performance possible by Ashurbanipal.They can connect on the ends to form a full double-bladed saber. (see sig)

Age: 25

Hair Style: Long hair (down to her waist) either loose or pulled back in a high ponytail. She also has a little braid on the side of her head.

Hair Color: Medium golden-brown.

Clothing: Well-fitted Jedi robes with a tight-fitting but flexible white tank top and loose fitting pants underneath. Supple brown leather boots. Occasionally she wears a floor-length, hooded black cape. Also see my sig pic.

Eye Color: Very deep brown, nearly black, captivating.

Appearance: She has a kind & intelligent face, full lips, and large gold bangles in her ears. Many consider her beautiful. Her skin tans easily from being outdoors, and she moves boldy but with catlike grace.

Force Powers: Eliatra is a Master in the Force and a formidable opponent. Though she is adept in nearly every Force power,she excels in healing and shields, and often uses Force waves or stasis in battle, among a few other powers she learned while in the grip of the Dark side.

Fighting Style: Aggressive, precise, powerful, and breathtakingly swift. Eliatra has faced down countless Sith lords and lived to tell the tale; she uses mainly sabres when she fights, preferring to use her Force only to heal or shield herself and when she is in a tight spot.

Homeworld: Alderaan.

Ship: A YT-2000 freighter, the Whisper Echo.

Background: Strong, charismatic and devoted, Eliatra is a fair and intelligent leader and displays much talent despite her young age for a Master. Jedi Knight Austrina Lelovare discovered her to be strong in the Force at a very young age, and taken to live with the Jedi. Always well-liked, Eliatra's best friends were Trisana Koria and Orion Rivalen, who were both close to her age.
Although it was discouraged, Eliatra and Orion developed a loving relationship. The same year that Eliatra turned 16 and was made a Jedi Knight, Orion and Tris left the Academy to join the war against the Mandalorians. Eliatra remained with the Jedi despite her friends' departure, heeding the Council's warning. It was only two years later that she learned that Trisana had turned to the Dark side, and although some of the other Jedi returned from the wars, Orion did not.
Putting her duty before her concerns, Eliatra continued to stay on with her assigned Master, Austrina, to keep serving the galaxy in the way of the Jedi. Austrina and Eliatra were on a mission on Barab I when the Mandalorians struck, savagely attacking the planet with the brutal efficiency of their kind.
Austrina, knowing that Eliatra was destined for more, sacrificed herself so that Eliatra could flee the planet. Eliatra wandered the galaxy for months while coming to terms with her beloved Master's death before returning to her Dantooine Jedi enclave home. There was still no word of Orion, and Eliatra finally decided to let him go and move on....though she vowed to never forget him.
Grieving in silence, Eliatra, a more influential member of the Order now that many of the Jedi had been killed in the Mandalorian and Sith wars, brought her attention to a new threat: that of a rising Sith lord, Lord Devlen Darkbroode.
Eliatra, remembering the deaths of her friends, resolved to set herself to keep that from happening again. She went before the Council and asked permission to start an academy, a subset of the Jedi, of her own, that she might better help to strengthen the Jedi's numbers and pursue the Sith. The Council conferred, weighing possibilities and Eliatra's strengths and weaknesses as a leader. She was young, yet wise beyond her years; inexperienced, but cool in any situation and rarely rash; without a Master but ready to take on a padawan of her own. Weeks passed without word as the few remaining Masters discussed the problem.
Eliatra meditated daily, preparing for whatever answer the Council presented her with. Finally the chamber doors opened and she was ushered in. The Jedi Masters gravely asked her if she thought she was up to the massive task of creating and leading her own academy. She assured them with equal gravity that she was able, and it was final: She would be Master of a Jedi establishment!

Days, weeks, months sped by as Eliatra strived to lead her small academy on Dantooine. She was not alone in her task; a few of the Padawans from the original academy accompanied her, helping her to build the academy and aiding her in learning how to teach others. New students, many of them latecomers to the Force, came in regularly, eager for her teaching and her leadership. Two years had passed nearly before she realized it, and she paused to reflect. All around her was a now-prospering academy; together with the Jedi who had learned beneath her, she had launched an attack on the Sith forces. And although it had not taken out their forces, it had weakened them considerably.
She still thought of Orion from time to time... though others had tried to win her affection, none had quite succeeded...

Kit came to the academy one quiet --well, as quiet as things get for a Jedi Master-- day, carrying a shipment of training sabres he had smuggled in from the Core Worlds. Eliatra wouldn't have noticed him save for the fact that he was not the academy's usual "delivery man" for sabres and other items that were hard to get, due to Sith interference.
Glancing him over, Eliatra realized with a shock that this man was a Force-sensitive, and a strong one at that. It took a little persuasion to get the smuggler to leave the job he loved, but she did and was soon training him. Kit Rendar proved to be adept at using both lightsabers and Force, learning in only a few months what many strove to learn in years. Kit adapted well to the role of Jedi, and constantly worked by Eliatra's side, supporting and advising her in everything she did. On a mission to destroy a Sith capital ship, Eliatra, Kit, and Seth, another Jedi Knight, fought courageously against hundreds of Sith soldiers and battle droids. When Eliatra went down in combat due to injuries, Kit risked his life to save hers. They escaped the ship only moments before it exploded into oblivion. The mission proved to be the growing beginning of a deep relationship between the two.

Barely a month after this event, Eliatra received word of her former best friend, Trisana, commanding the Sith flagship Super Nova. Tris's fleet was preparing to launch an attack on Corellia.
Eliatra, Kit, and a small group of Jedi went immediately to the Super Nova to find Tris and to save Corellia. Although Eli knew her friend had fallen to the dark side, she had never before come face-to-face with one she had known so well that had fallen so completely. The change in Tris was crushing to Eliatra. The two struggled to turn each other to their own sides, but both resisted, and Tris ended up loosing the ship's many troops on them while Tris escaped. The group of Jedi barely made it out of the ship alive.
Though the attack on Corellia had been averted, Eliatra's friend turned nemesis had escaped alive, and needed to be turned or captured before she moved to damage another planet.

While the Jedi searched for Trisana, Eliatra blamed herself for being unable to stop Tris's turning. Kit was the only one who could soothe her heart during this time, and Eliatra
slowly allowed herself to become close to him.
The Jedi found Trisana hiding in an ancient Sith temple deep in the jungles of Onderon. Steeling herself against what was sure to come, Eliatra and Kit went to Onderon. Tris and her Sith master were waiting for them in the heart of the Sith temple. Eliatra strove to turn Trisana to the Light, and nearly succeeded, but the Sith master intervened and broke Trisana from Eliatra's convincing and urged her to attack. Kit, who was by now a Jedi Master, was able to kill the Sith master. Trisana caught Eliatra off guard by attacking her fiercely with a lung-damaging Force attack. Eliatra grew steadily weaker as she fought off Trisana and the other Sith who had appeared shortly after they had arrived. Seeing an opening in the hordes of Sith, she urged Kit to save himself and get out while she distracted them. Kit refused, knowing that there was no way Eliatra would live much longer by herself even without the attack to her lungs. Kit took on a burst of energy brought on by desperation and fought savagely to get to Eliatra's side, then carried her out of the temple and off the planet to rush her to medical aid. It was then that the two realized that they would die for each other...which meant a commitment that Eliatra never thought she would make again, after Orion's disappearance...but she made it gladly as she and Kit professed their love for each other. They married soon after (11/01/04) and became co-leaders of the Jedi.

Since then, Eliatra has faced many joys and dangers; the annihilation of the Dantooine academy, rebuilding it on Corellia...Jedi dying and Jedi discovered, those fallen and those redeemed... promises broken and promises kept... betrayal and trust... challenges to her leadership and staunch support...discovering her family on Alderaan, and bringing her younger sister Fiera to the Jedi for training.
Two years ago, Eliatra felt the Force calling her to the far edge of the galaxy...to wild space. She told Kit that she had to go, and didn't know if she would be back.Though he begged her not to leave, she could not deny the Force. A week later she departed, never to be seen again, until....now....
