[Ryu Kitana/Dominic Trayce]

*The streets echoed with a calm that was most unusual compared to the restless normality that consumes the daily atmosphere of Theed.

The stars shone dimly upon the landscape of the city, as the Jedi Master overlooked, it from a spot in which had been visited only by three. Himself, the late Paul Ketan. and the persone he sought now, Arael Juhn.

It had been a meeting long anticipated and thought over by the the Jedi, whos mind dwindled restlessly upon the situation he now faced. He was nervous. Almost shakeing. though it was not of fear. nor of the threatning danger that seemingly lurked behind him wherever he went.

He turned his head back from the starlight horizion of Theed to face the waterfall in which he had seen recently only in his dreams, and in its physical form so many years ago. and simply stared into it, absorbeing its tanquility and calming essecens within himself, as he would soon need it. The glimering light that reflected from the water was one he knew very well, it was none other that the moonslight. And it shone more radiently than he had ever seen it before. And now in this moment he thought it perfectly fitting.*

*The journey had been long and tiring. So much had passed since she had been anywhere. Not all of the places of Sable's had been destroyed. There was tons of knowledge there and one area really peaked her interests. She heard the signal from Damien and knew he was calling her. It had to be something serious for him to contact her. Plus, she had to admit she missed him greatly. The days had been so long and there had been little to no sleep since escaping from Selae that one fateful day. Her battered ship lands at the Theed hangar bays and she steps out. Arael had wished she had time to change beforehand. Yet, she was more concerned about what he had to say. Was Onderon ok? What had happened in her absence? Arael took to the streets hurrying along to the streambed. After several minutes, she made her way and saw Damien standing there. Her heart almost leaped out of her chest at seeing him. She started walking and broke into a run as she went to him.*

*Damien closed his eyes only for a moment, when he heard the soft patter of footsteps on the grass as he turned to see Arael running towards him, a smile grew upon his face, as he ran to meet her. He met her and embraced her tightly as he closed his eyes and simply enjoyed being with her again, after such a long time apart. He kissed her softley and pulled back to meet her gaze with his own and smile warmly*

"Arael. you;ve no idea how much ive missed you"

*The joy at seeing him alright pushed all that had happened out of her mind as she held tightly to him and returned his kiss with a longing. It had been too long that they had been apart. Tears threatened to fall from her eyes as she looked into his own.*

"I've missed you so much too, Damien. I was afraid I might not see you again...."

*He spoke to her softley as he recollected the events of the war and its entirety. Onderon, Couruscant. Shaderon, and the many other planets he had set foot upon over the duration of the war, the events that unfolded upon them, and the time they had been apart*

"So much has happened. Many Jedi have been killed, The Temple, We managed to force Invidious's forces out. But the danger of collapse forced us to withdraw as well. No one was hurt."

[Lady Zahra/Jules]

*She bowed her head at this news in sadness.*

"So many lives lost. Rebuilding will be slow..."

*She raised her eyes to him and forced smile on her face. Could she tell him about all she had encountered or was it best to not say anything? The thing she had to do, she knew she would lose her life doing. She had already seen her end and embraced it. She came back to simply see him again before it all ended.*

*Her eyes told him something, they were coated with a joy that seemed, less than joyfull. Within them he saw concern, something was happening, but wasnt there always? He put these thoughts aside for a moment and went on with his convorsation*

"Arael...When, uhm. The temple on Couruscant. A living Hell, blood, bodies, blaster bolts everywhere, the others split from the group to engage the Sith onslaught, The Jedi and i marched up the stairs until we reached the main hallway, so many things crossed their minds. And even in that moment just as we stared for only a second upon the battle field and what i thought was our deaths, i thought of only one thing."

[Lady Zahra/Jules]

*She had a feeling what he was going to say. Yet, she wanted to give him the chance to say it.*

"What went through your mind?"

*Her hand went up to his cheek caressing it as she kept her gaze into his eyes fighting back the tears that wanted to fall down her face. One tear did escape and fell down her face.*

*The look in his eyes deepened wiht love as he continued to speak softley, he placed his hand over hers, and with his other took the hand that rested at her side.*

"I thought only of you. Of comeing back, seeing you again. And being with you, and the question that i've longed to ask ever since that day..."

[Lady Zahra/Jules]

*She looked at him as if she wasn't completely sure what he was saying. More tears started to fall down her face as she felt his love for her and trembled at his touch. It started to strike her what she thought he was going to say and her mouth opened as she looked at him with blurred eyes from the tears that now fell freely.*

"Oh....Damien...."

*Damiens gaze intensified with the undieing love he had for her, and he allowd himself to show it in the truest form humanly possible, his voice, became soft, of a careing nurtureing nature, one that not even Arael had heard before to this extent, he slowly dropped gracefully to a knee and tilted his head upwards to face her, and take in everything that he saw, and everything that he lived for, in this moment, and it was all right there in front of him. In the eyes of Arael Juhn.*

"Arael.."

*His hands met hers and in front of her, appeared a ring, a ring that bared a rock of an uncompareable crystalic purity. And it glimmered brigher than that sun itself, when Araels gaze shifted only for a second to examine its beauty.

It was in this moment Damien spoke, and it was in this moment, that he came to the realisation that upon doing this, he had achieved everything he could ever have hoped to acheive, everything he had worked for, and fought to protect, evertying he had dreamed of and pushed himself to near death to acomplish, was for this. This moment, these words.*

"Arael, Will you marry me?"

*It was then that everything was out of his hands, his past, future, life as he knew it, he had done it all for her, and it was in her hands now. Thos same hands that he held tightly and loveingly, simply waiting for an answer, the one that would crush him for eternity or complete him.*

*Her mouth opened as she uttered..."oh my gosh"...The love she felt for him in that moment was beyond anything she had felt for anyone. Tears that were held back were no longer. Finding it hard to catch her breath to say yes, she nodded her head and pulled him up to his feet embracing him and kissing him passionately. Her warm tears brush against his cheek as he could feel her love for him in that moment. She didn't know for how long, but any moment with him and only him was precious. When they parted, she pulled back to look in his eyes and finally uttered the words.*

"Yes. Yes, Damien, I'll marry you."

*A smile illuminated his face as he drew her close and spoke softley, simply enjoying the feeling of happines that overcame them*

"I was hopeing you'd say that."

[Lady Zahra/Jules]

"I never thought we'd ever get to this point. We've had so much against us. Funny how time has a way of changing so many things. Even in the darkest of times there is a light and a glimmer of hope."

"Your right, everything always seems to work out in the end."
