The following is an excerpt from a personal log on one of Cularin's many holonet nodes. It is unclear who the original author was, or who the slicer might have been that obtained the logfile. The contents are disturbing enough that the mainstream media is refusing to even discuss it, lest it further fuel the delusions of the Believers. All the same, the file has been making the rounds of some of the conspiracy-focused nodes, drawing no small amount of concerned reaction from many who read it.
==========
Almost every users of the Dark Side of the Force throughout the galaxy wonders about the ancient Sith fortress on Almas. With his huge black spire rising out of the desert this ancient ground is almost older than anything in Cularin.
But why would the ancient Dark Lord of the Sith Darth Rivan build this kind of fortress away from everything else, in the middle of the desert? I have read that thing that was supposedly written by the Dark Lord of the Sith himself about why he came to Cularin. But he doesn't explain why he'd build a fortress that can shoots huge beams of blazing lightning at passing starships. I dont think that he build this place only because he wanted to...Some acts happens for a reason...
And I have discovered his secret...
He wanted to make Sith Battlelords.
If you, whoever is reading this never heard of them, then you aren't the only one...

The basic idea of Sith battlelords goes back to the problem the Sith always had that made them adopt that "the strong rule the weak". Namely, if you get too many Lords of the Sith in the same place, they're gonna fight for the little power they could gain. Evil doesn't work well together. Darksiders can't organize, because they're always afraid everyone else is going to stab them in the back -- literally. With a lightsaber. These kind of people aren't likely to work together, and nobody's sure gonna want to work for them.
So to take care of this problem, I guess Rivan designed these battlelords. The basic idea was to eliminate insubordination as an option for soldiers and make it difficult for someone who's in charge of soldiers to mistreat them. Kind of a forced morale thing. It was a pretty convoluted process, and he needed someplace special to do all the work -- like a fortress in the middle of nowhere that he could use to test things out and refine the technique.
I know I shouldn't write this but by the time your reading this some kind of crazy sith would have killed me for this information and your probably him.
There's a long, drawn-out ritual. All sorts of Sith "magic" is involved, and I don't want to know exactly what happens. But at the end, the person who's supposed to become a battlelord is laid down and cut open. Then he bleeds, and while he's bleeding, his troops pass by and track through his blood...Sounds freaky uh?
============
The Sith Lord shut the datapad as his eyes fiery red eyes swept the area. He was standing alongside some kind of mandalorian bounty hunter beneath Darth Rivan's fortress on Almas.
You have done well my friend.... heres your money now leave before I change my mind...
The bounty hunter said nothing and took the small suitcase on the scorched earth before leaving through a antechamber.
Lord Sparticus?

Lord Sparticus?*Lord Sparticus strode out swiftly from the chamber in which he had been meditating.He flew just above the ground to Lord Invidius' position,and landed on his feet infront of him at attention.Nodding at him,he spoke powerfully.* "Reporting,Lord Invidius! You called for me?" *As Lord Sparticus stood at attention and glanced at the datapad.He wondered what it was,but let his mind drift from the thought,not wanting to disrupt his Focus.*

Darth Ominus strode into the chamber silently as he fixed his robe and fidgeted slightly with his new utility belt as he repositioned his ancient sabers upon it. His hood hid all but his demonic red eyes that appeared to burn alight with pure hellfire.
A nod was all that marked the entrance of the Sith Lord. He took a seat and calmly folded his arms across his chest, and waited as if silently asking for a progress report...

*Being the first to become a Battlelord,Lord Sparticus looked over the rest of the men there.He felt somewhat more important,simply because he was the first test victim.He turned his head to Invidius while still eyeing the rest of the soldiers.*
"But sir,what must I do to become a battlelord? Kill these men?"
*His head held high,he inhaled and exhaled deeply,concentrating on whatever task he had to complete.Perhaps a sacraficial cermony.Maybe these men had to die in order for him to become a Battlelord.He had hoped not,for it would be a huge waste of soldiers.After speaking,Lord Sparticus noticed Darth Ominus and nodded,showing that he had noticed his arrival.*

Infernus stood beside his master, his arms crossed over his chest, holding back the rims of his black overcoat to show a slight hint of gold beneath. His eyes glared malevolently out of the darkness of his hood, casting an dim read light across the room. He was the Lord of Flame, and everything about him conformed to such a title.

Darth Ominus nodded silently as Infernus approached. This ritualistic ceremony was of the old ways... the use of Sith sorcery seemed to be long forgotten in this age. I spoke quietly to my apprentice to ensure only he could hear my words...
" We shall usher in this new era of shadow and despair with our newly formed legions at the fore front of battle! They will soon bow to the might of The Brotherhood of Darkness! "

Infernus grinned slightly from behind his insidious visage of pure evil. “Yes Master,” he said.

*Hearing Ominus' words,Lord Sparticus chuckled without turning his head.The new age would soon come,where Lord Invidius and the other Lords would form The Brotherhood of Darkess,and Lord Sparticus would finally achieve the rank he deserved.Hearing about the past battlelords,he had a feeling whatever happened in the ritual would not be permenant.He had already heard that what happens will only last for a short while,but only because he is to become the First Battlelord.Many of the disbelievers will be suprised when Lord Sparticus,THE FIRST BATTLELORD,would rise from his former weakness,with a newfound evil and power.Lord Sparticus felt the darkness from within himself,the planet,and every other man on said planet,fill his lungs with every breath...The ritual was near.As he stood,still at attention,his entire eyeball turned black.Now only the Cornea and Iris,but the whole eye.Soon the Republic and everyone who opposed him would feel the wrath of the very first Battlelord,Lord Sparticus.*

In a swift motion the Sith Lord Darth Invidius drew a large darkened sword and stabbed Sparticus in the chest. He then began to chant ancient Sith Incantation while cutting the Dark Knight's stomach open as he streams of blood fell on the scorched earth.
Troopers! Come forth!

*Darth Sparticus was shocked as the large blade swept through his stomach,cutting himself open.As the burn of the blade went through his skin,he fell to his knees,his mouth full of blood.While on his knees,he spit out ounces of blood by the minute,not to mention the blood pouring out of his wound.Though his vision was growing faint and he started feeling dizzy,his will power kept him still up on his knees.As Sparticus sat on his knees,he watched as his troops neared him.He had hoped this was part of the ritual.The chanting of the Incantation was seeming to grow further and further away as his eyes watered with blurriness.Though he could feel the wound's sting grow stronger and stronger,he wouldn't let away of his senses slip away.*

Two Sith Apprentice passed by Sparticus and tracked through the pool of blood that became ablaze because of the Sith magic but the bright flames did not harm them but only furthered their everlasting descend into the Dark Side of the Force.
