Aboard the Avenger (Republic Soldiers)

Urius sat in the dimly lit discussion hall aboard the colossal Republic Command ship The Avenger. There was a long table in the centre of the room; many comfortable seats surrounded it. His brown, well-kept hair fell limply off his head, his eyes drowsily staring at the door, showing clear signs of bad sleeping. Despite his moderately docile state his perceptions were the same as always; sharp and incomparably honed. He was waiting patiently for his officers and high ranking troops to enter so they could discuss the war efforts.

*This war was a long and bloody fight. It can take the cleanest of men, and turn them into dirtiest soldiers. Take Korbain for instance. Before he was a republic general, he was a freelance mercenary. But when a jedi told him about joining the republic, he was skeptical, but joined in time. He once had a clean blue face, with nice crimson eyes. He had a clean gotee and long silky hair. Now he had a light stubble on his face and was covered in scars. His nice gotee was now shaved into a small patch of hair that lie under his lower lip. and his clean long hair was now oily and put into a pony tail from the back of his crown. And his crimson eyes were now flickered with small veins and a tiny patch of white. He was a soldier to the bone now, no more wandering, no more hiring, just following orders. The sulky chiss walked into the room and sat down at one of the chairs. He merely nodded at Urius and leaned back in his chair.*

*Admiral Adama walked into the room. He had flown there as soon as he got word to join the Other Ranking Officers here*

"What's going on?"

[Commander Stardust]

Commander Stardust walked down the bustling bridge of the Avenger that was surely staffed with the finest crewers in the entire Republic Starfleet.

Good evening Chancellor.

Said the Commander wearing his usual bone-white armor that fitted over a black temperature-control body suit.

[Sabre]

“I have brought you here in accordance with the recent reforming of the Republic Faction,” he said looking around at the men. “I been elected as the Supreme Chancellor, and am now solely in charge of the re-organization and reformation of our great Senate and Army. I have promoted you all on ranking commendation and services to the Republic and I believe there is much in both of your futures. We need to retake the lost worlds, Coruscant in most quotation here.”

"I agree, Chancellor. We need to reclaim as many worlds as possible with our avaliable forces. Once The Republic is back in Power we can launch a campain to reclaim the ones we can't now. I suggest unimportant worlds taken by the Sith. That way we're viewed only as a nusiance."

[Aumoc Oniw]

Aumocs ship the hive slowly drifted around the Avenger awaiting athorization to dock on the ship and join the meeting

"Excuse me. May i dock?"

Aumoc waited soundly for a reply

*Commander Black entered the discussion hall, saluting crisply to Admiral Adama before taking a seat.*
"I missed nothing of importance chancellor?"

[Sabre]

Urius nodded slightly to Adama’s suggestion. “Yes, our force strength is not quite at its peak, however I believe we have more than enough deployment ships ready. I believe our first attack should be on the planet of Naboo, this Sith’s domination of it has seen the people through more famines than any other world in the galaxy, even despite their high natural revenue.”
Urius then turned to Commander Stardust “No, we have only just begun.”

"Chancellor, I agree with your Idea. Naboo is in need of liberation than any world at the moment. Coruscant and Corellia can handle sith occupation for a while longer, as much as I hate to say it. At least they're not starving or dying of more 'natural' causes than before."

[Sabre]

"How do you suggest we go about this strike," he said.

"Well, we can't attack them directly. Otherwise, they'll call in reinforcements and takes us out from behind. Right now, the best Idea I can come up with is seige the planet. Create a Blockade and wait it out. Let them surrender from lack of resources."

[Veran]

"Sorry, but allow me to interupt."

The Nem'vaah master, Ranka steped forth into the room the cape of his coat sliding behind him in the air of the room, still peirced by the countless holes from blaster rays, both his handguns clearly displayed at the sides of his belt. He stopped next to the Chancellor to speak directly to the entire crew of Generals and soldiers standing with them in the cabin...

"The Sith army itself has been halved and partialy destroyed by the war they declared upon themselves, they are weak at the moment, yet so are we... I agree that we need to save as many lives as we can, but we cannot allow their forces to build up once again to its former status... We will have to strike at key worlds providing them in essential ressources, such as durasteel and tibana gas. Allowing our troops to recover and grow while the Sith will simply weaken over time... The more power we have over the Sith and the more hopes we can have of saving many more lives then in our current military state."

"The Tibana Gas also supplies Our ships with fuel. If we attack places like Bespin, we risk loosing the Tibana Gas permenantly. Not only that, but as I said earlier, we don't have the resources to launch major attacks. Not anymore."
