Into the Shadows (Ask)

[Devlen Del-Arshu]

*The impact sent the pair of them sprawling, lightsaber went flying as the two stood up. Temporarily unarmed, Boli raised his fist as he sent a kick for Brenos' head.*

[Jedi Master Arlon Kyjar]

*Expecting a punch, the kick hit him directly on the cheek, forcing him to stumble backwards a little. He begins looking for his lightsabers and sees one of them behind Boli. He raises and ignites it with the force, sending it soaring at Boli from behind.*

[Devlen Del-Arshu]

*With easeless grace, Boli swept around, turning the lightsaber hilt fist, then caught it, spinning around to face Brenos with his own blade.*

[Jedi Master Arlon Kyjar]

*Brenos smirks at Boli's confidence. He couldnt actually expect a Sith Lord to have only two lightsabers, could he?*

"Very nicely done, Boli..."

*Brenos pushes his cloak aside and reveals his famed double bladed razor edge lightsaber. He takes it out and ignites it, the green blade glowing brightly.*

[Devlen Del-Arshu]

"So Brenos...reverting to the weapon you used as a JEDI?"

*Boli used the Force to bring his normal lightsaber to hand, the two blades at the ready.*

[Jedi Master Arlon Kyjar]

"It still works just as well. Do you think that my darkness gives me an innability to use my favorite and most prized lightsaber?"

*Brenos holds his lightsaber out in front of him at the ready.*

[Devlen Del-Arshu]

"Usually such items begins to have a light side aura around them after so long...no matter."

*Boli raised his sbaers, preparing for an attack. Let him make the first move.*

[Jedi Master Arlon Kyjar]

*BRenos gets into the Shien form and runs towards Boli using a force speed. Once he gets close enough, he feints an attack past Boli's right side then pulls back out, switching to Juyo to catch Boli off guard and bringing his lightsaber across to Boli's kidneys.*

[Devlen Del-Arshu]

*Boli waited for the right moment, then leapt up and kicked at Brenos' chin with his foot, disregarding the lightsabers for just a moment.*

[Jedi Master Arlon Kyjar]

*Brenos spinned to the left, getting away from the kick and stopping his strike at the same time. He then spun again in the same direction so that he was now facing Boli's back, and jabbed towards his spinal cord.*

[Devlen Del-Arshu]

*All that saved Boli was his own momentum. The green lightsaber blade still managed to burn a deep welt in the Jedi's shoulder blade, and Boli went crashing down, his arm fallen limp.*

*Meanwhile, taking shelter from the rain, the tight leather outfit of Alora leant against a wall, her body well camouflaged against the wall. All that stood out was her bright eyes, staring cat-like at the two dueling.*[/i]

*With Boli on the ground, Brenos took this opportunity to roll him over on to his back with his foot and placing his lightsaber at his neck.*

"This did not have to happen, my old friend..."

[Devlen Del-Arshu]

*Boli glared up at Brenos, and he knew that all hope for the former Jedi was lost...But, there was something in his voice...it was odd...it didn't quite fit...*

"Oh? I suppose you attacking me was my fault then?"

[Jedi Master Arlon Kyjar]

"No, Boli... This is not supposed to happen, I saw something different in our future, this was not part of it, you never died... I was not even to be here like this... This all... This all doesnt make any sense..."

[Devlen Del-Arshu]

*You...you speak the truth. The Force pushed us in one direction, and we went the other...it seems the two of us have broken free of fate for the time being. This chapter in both of our lives is for us to write.*
