Into the Shadows (Ask)

[Jedi Master Arlon Kyjar]

*Brenos looks confused for a breif second, as he looked down at Boli from his high peak. Maybe he was right, maybe he did break fate by leaving the Jedi... He was never at home with the Jedi though, and he was more a part of the Sith than he ever was anything else. He stops worrying about it for now. A thunderous laugh is heard throughout the entire planet, coming from the Sith Lord himself.*

"Please, Boli, you cannot hope to turn me back to the light with a speech like that. I know nobody still worships me, though I do have more than a few followers, you know that. I still have my friends with the Jedi; Master Nightblade, and I never had a problem with you, but you apparently have one with me. So..."

*Brenos takes out his two lightsabers and ignites them, the acidic rain pouring down onto the tip of the blade outside of the peak.*

"Let's get this over with."

[Devlen Del-Arshu]

*Boli bows his head, silently asking for forgiveness for what he was about to do.*

"I...I'm sorry, my old friend. I don't want to hurt you, but you leave me no choice."

*With a snap-hiss, Boli brought his green lightsaber up to his face, simultaneously immersing himself in the Force and tapping into the Field as his Mancery powers returned to him in a flood of light in the Force.*

"Are you ready?"

"Ohh... Is that how we're doing it now?"

*Brenos closes his eyes and seaches for the powerful node around the field they are standing on and taps into it quickly. He then opens his eyes and jumps down from his peak, applying another force absorb to himself and charging towards Boli, jumping upwards and slashing at his right shoulder.*

[Devlen Del-Arshu]

*Boli waited for the right moment, then disengaged his lightsaber, rolling to the side. As he kneeled, preparing to get up, his arms shot outward as an enormous Force Wave smashed through the air towards Brenos.*

*Brenos was curdled over due to the force he had used in his strike, but regains his balance and stands upwards, feeling the force wave's energy coming towards him, he holds out a hand and sends one back at Boli of the exact power, negating the effects of both.*

[Devlen Del-Arshu]

"Well played"

*Boli ignited his saber once more, preparing himself to use Makashi. This was a dangerous tactic - if Brenos used Ataru he would have to go to Shien pretty quickly. But the Jedi refused to let his thoughts betray him...he was better than that. Immediately he lunged forward at Brenos.*

*Brenos sees Boli coming towards him with the Makashi lightsaber form and switches into the Juyo form. Once Boli gets close enough to him, Brenos jumps and spreads his lightsabers out to either side, then with all his strength, brings them both across at the same time in a chopping motion at Boli.*

[Devlen Del-Arshu]

*Bol steps backward, quickly bringing his lightsaber around into a vertical position, bringing the two into a saber lock.*

"Two sabers, pah."

[Jedi Master Arlon Kyjar]

"It does make fighting that much easier."

*Brenos smirks and forces his lightsabers out of the lock, then switches to Ataru, jumping over Boli and striking at him from behind.*

[Devlen Del-Arshu]

*Oh, well...to each their own. Boli swiftly turned around, blocking the blow. He realised he had only two choices in the matter now: begin an elaborate Ataru dance with Brenos (which he knew he would lose), or defend with Shien. Shien it was. Boli leapt backward several meters, giving himself some breathing room as he switched forms.*

*Keeping with the lightsaber form medley, he switches again, this time to the taunting position of Dun Moch. With the knowledge he has of Boli, this would be perfectly suitable, maybe even a bit easy.*

"Come on Boli, I thought you were supposed to be an expert duelist."

[Devlen Del-Arshu]

*Boli couldn't help but being goaded into it. It was in his character to never bac kdown from a challenge...a trait more and more evident these days. With a crooked smirk, the Jedi raised his arms, howling primitively with a voice that didn't quite fit...a canine howl of another species, long dead. The air around Boli suddenyl shimmered as a great golden sphere appear in each hand. Clapping his hands together, the two spheres collided and joined, becoming one large one. With a final howling note, the great sphere smashed towards Brenos.*

*Brenos had known this trick from memory, very basic, very easy to dodge, not easy to break, or break free of. Basically, dont get hit and you'll be fine. He turned around and used a force speed, running at nearly the same pace as the sphere. He waited until he was right infront of a cliff wall to turn to the right, then running even faster back at Boli, hoping that the sphere would follow behind him.*

*As quickly as it had appeared, the sphere disingegrated as Boli lunged at Brenos, usng the Sith Lord's momentum against him.*

"Shit..."

*With Boli coming at him full speed, this would take some improvisation to get out of unscathed. As soon as the two got close enough, Brenos jumped and rolled in the air, missing Boli's lightsaber, and sticking up his knee, hoping to hit Boli's kidney.*
