I dont think he would of been able to defeat Vader due to the fact that he was always on the defensive..

It wasn't his location, it wasn't his ability, it was his knowledge over his old padawan. He knew his weakness, and he exploited it.

1. Force Aura - If I am understanding this article correctly, it is just ones ability to tap into the Force.
2. Anakin vs. Obi-Wan - It had nothing to do with the location or ability, as Sabre said. Anakin was more powerful but Obi-Wan was more experienced. Obi-Wan had already been in three lightsaber fights with Sith Lords AND General Grievous. He could also anticipate Anakin's every move, specifically when he "had the high ground".

If Yoda was bigger, would he have been able to sustain that large ball of energy at the end of his fight with Sidious, and then turn it around to beat Sidious?

Difficult question, sustaining the large ball might have been easier yes, but beating Sidious? It doesn’t actually say that was the reason he lost in the book, he kinda had an epiphany and realized the Sith had grown and changed, but the Jedi had stayed the same and prepared to fight the last war, so instead of fighting on without his lightsaber and in bad shape he decided to preserve his life so that he could train others to fight the new war.

There is no doubt Anakin had more raw power, he was "the chosen one" but Ob-Wan just had the upper hand.

Q: In the beginning of Epi 5, how did that one Rebel who was searching for Han and Luke know that both of them were there? Rebel: Han Solo, Luke Skywalker, blah, blah, blah, are you there? Han: I'm here. Rebel: *talks to base* I found them. Notice that he just assumes both of them are there...

I think he assumed they were both there because Han went out looking for Luke. So, they probably figured that if Han survived and Luke didn't, Han would have found a way back to Echo Base.

Q:
Why, in ANH, did the Command Center say, "Red Two do you see Red Five?", when Red Two(Porkins) had died a few minutes earlier?

I'll check that later, for I never noticed it. Obviously it was an editing mistake.
