Its just weird because Imagine by john lennon is about peace and stuff and when u play it backwards its the exact opposite same with stairway. And weird Al is just a weird singer i have no idea why he did that

I think the whole "Stairway to Heaven" one has been around for a long, long time... I was just reading the Dark Knight by Frank Miller, and they make allusions to it. Those comics were published in 1986, too.... so its been around at least that long. Thats all I know of it...
