*I scowl as I read the datapad. I look up after finishing it and hold it firmly in my hand*
"Where did you get this?"

*Normally, she would protest with force at such an act, yet this person intrigued her. If he did face her, she knew she could hold her own. Instead, she settles in on his shoulder and chuckles to herself at his behavior.*
He's a bit flashy for my tastes but at least he can get the job done. Let's see just what this man is made of...

/me Kabal holds her on his shoulder with a firm grip on her hip and walks into an alleyway. He then turns to face the street and points. State Target.

::a slight chuckle escapes my lips...::
"It's a long story master"
"Can it be true Duncan? The man we seek was a jedi?"

*She taps him on the shoulder pointing towards the ground and crosses her arms in front of her.*
"Put me down and perhaps we can work up an agreement."

/me Kabal holds her steady and kneels down on one knee allowing her to slide off his shoulder, step on his knee, and onto the ground. He stands back up and looks down at her.

"Its possible, Kain. This may be why the Council is taking such an interest in him. It would explain a lot...we need to meet with Sarayas again. On our own terms. Were still way too far into the dark to do too much, and I think he has our answers..."

" I would rather not stay here too much longer master. They know we are here so we need to get somewhere safe and work out a plan."

*She walks towards the entrance of the alleyway where she can't be seen but can see the target outside. Her long strong, hand encased in leather points to a human male, dark complexion, sun bleached blond hair, wearing an apron and selling goods on the street...a vendor. Her face turns towards him again and says quietly but low enough still for only him to hear.*
"That man, there. He's been snooping around my hideout for some time and tries to appear as if he isn't listening in when I have been in the cantina and he is on break. You do things my way....understand? Lure him away from his post and take him out. Remove his tongue and right hand only. His days of business will be over and his life will be spared so as not to further the attention of the Jedi. No one will trust a traitor with one hand. It is a mark here that someone isn't trustworthy. I have seen you kill....now show me your skill."

"This may be a good idea, Kain. We can rent out a room somewhere, and we can fill each other in on all the details and formulate a plan. But we cant stay in one spot too long."
*i turn to Celestia*
"Celestia, you can come with us, or stay with Kabal. Your choice"

/me Kabal walks past her and into the street. He walks up to the vendor and taps him on the shoulder. The vendor turns around and looks up at him. Yeah! What do you want big guy? Who sent ya? /me Kabal leans down and in his mechanical tones says quietly... I require 'Death Blaze' /me The vendor straightens up with a look of shock. He then shoos his customers away and closes up shop. Keep ya voice down ya big lug. You never know who's listening. This way... /me The vendor leads Kabal down a dark alleyway and as he turns to confront Kabal, Kabal lifts him up in the air and pins him to the wall. His left saber flicks out of his forearm and into his hand and ignites. Choking, the vendor tries to talk, Wha... It wern't .... me... /me Kabal flicks the saber and the vendor's hand falls to the floor, his scream of pain silenced by his choking. Kabal lowers him to the ground as his saber fuzzez out and flicks back into his forearm. He makes a fist and out of his knuckles shoots a blade about 5 inches long. He rams it through the bottom of the vendor's jaw, breaking his teeth and jawbone, but also cutting his tongue off in the process. The vendor coughs and spits out his tongue. Kabal leans down, picks up the tongue and hand and leaves the vendor alone. Once back with the woman he presents the hand and tongue to her. Objective complete.

*i ignite my own sabres and catch up with Kain, and the pair of us rush towards the scene. We meet with Kabal just as he starts walking out of the allyway. i take an offensive stance, and Kain seems to do the same next to me.*
"Kabal, what did you just do?!"

She steps out of the shadows with her arms crossed in front of her looking at the two Jedi facing Kabal. Finally glad to meet some Jedi, she turns to them and speaks to them with a bemused voice.
"It seems he was dishing out a little justice. This hand and tongue belonged to a man who was robbing people blind. Ask anyone in the streets and they will tell you that he would sell them defective items promising full refunds yet when they came back demanding money, he would have left the area. I have been watching him for some time. Gentlemen....or should I say Jedi, you have just witnessed how justice is done on Roon. The trading days of this man is over."
A smile is hidden beneath her mask because she knows that these Jedi have nothing they can say against what was just done...which is why she asked him to do such a deed. He could do more sensitive matters later. Would they argue their point saying it wasn't the right of anyone to take justice into their own hands? Of course...but in a place like Roon, few people sought help seeking justice....they rather took it into their own hands.
"There's nothing to see here. This man did what any sane person would have done. Now, if you don't mind, he and I have a date and I would hate to be kept waiting."
*She grabs his arm and begins to lead him away from the other Jedi before they can retort. Secretly, she hopes they do protest. The Jedi have yet to taste the flames of the Phoenix.*
