Facing the Enemy (closed)

[Triune]

*She turns to meet her twin's gaze a smile forming on her lips as she caresses 'Lirrekas' cheek in a similiar manner*

"You have learned much, have seen and done much... You impress me but in ways you are me aren't you... Lirreka?"

[Lady Zahra/Jules]

*She closes her eyes at the caress for a moment and looks into Lirr's deep green eyes. Her voice flows out of her lips like poison*

"You helped create me just as I helped to create you. We are inseparable. We are the same.....we are Lirreka."

*Her hands wrap around Lirr's waist as a needle comes out of her glove. Swiftly, she moves the needle closer to Lirr's neck while holding her gaze.*

[Triune]

*She meets her 'others' gaze, she reaches over to caress her sides lightly. Does she know the needle's there? who knows but she holds her twins Gaze with her own.*

"You have seen the world through my eyes, have lived my past now I give you a gift, the sensation of my flesh."

*Somehow, with Lirreka one is never certain but it seems as if, at least to Kyra that their positions shift, that for brief flashes she seems to be IN Lirreka's flesh, not just in a bio-suit but her mind her consciousness literally seems to be IN Lirreka's body...*

[Lady Zahra/Jules]

*She looks at her wide-eyed at first not confused at this sudden sensation. How was this possible? Yet, a smile plays upon her face during these brief moments inside Lirr's body. Feeling her strength....her thoughts seeming to become her very own....as she then feels herself being pulled back. A part of her tries to hold on and prevent the return.*

*Kyra opens her own eyes again looking at Lirr realizing that the needle wasn't in her hand anymore....had she dropped it or did Lirr now know of her plan? She feels her own self come to the surface as "Lirreka" is pushed back. Kyra's gaze turns upon Lirr in confusion.*

"Why did you do such a thing? You......you poison me. Giving me what I want.....what I long for...."

*She pulls back from her a little shaking her head slightly "no"*

[Triune]

*She looks into her eyes... emerald gazing into emerald. She holds out her hand*

"I give you what you want, what you seek to show you it is attainable... All you need is the will, the strength to take it."

*Her hand moves, a blur and she has cupped Kyra by the back of the head, drawing her closer.*

"You were right, The lost of my child destroyed me, shattered my foundation, poisoned the whole of Danthiri evolution in my eyes. We exisited to give birth to the next generation, a generation only grains of sand more then we were... I failed in that, I could not give birth after that the blade made me barren. I rebuilt myself from the ashes of what once was... I am the Phoenix Arisen...." She moves closer until her breath basks over Kyra's face "You can be too... if you have strength to take it. Do you have that strength? Are you Lirreka or are you just the ashes?"

[Lady Zahra/Jules]

*She looks deep into Lirr's gaze as tears form in her own eyes. Kyra swallows hard forcing the tears back raising her head to meet this woman's gaze without showing any sign of her true desires. However, she knows already that Lirr is fully knowledgable of them. When they somehow bonded, a connection was formed that she didn't think ever would form. How did she know so much about her? Through watching her or watching her daughter?*

Arael, Kyra, remember Arael. Lirr seeks to take all away from you and promise you everything in return. However, she is the one who will gain not you. But, the sense of family....the bond these share....it is something I have always wished for....always longed for....you have a family, Kyra, Arael, Gurv....these are your family. The rest is an illusion.

*Something in her gaze changes as she smiles confidently at Lirr.*

"The Phoenix has already risen. You have seen this much already, Lirreka. However, it doesn't end your way....oh no...."

*She looks down seeing the syringe and drops to the ground to try to grab it quickly and do what she came to do.*

[Triune]

*Lirreka steps back, she really only needs that small bit of seperation. Her right hand curls into a claw, Wind from the heart of a cyclone enwraps Kyra, trying to lift her from the ground and hold her suspended in mid air. So accurate her control that not even an errant breeze distrubs her own platinum locks*

[Lady Zahra/Jules]

*She is caught by surprise by the cyclone and barely grasps the syringe before it envelopes her. She uses her own weaving ability to try to regain control and disperse the wind. She has never had experience doing this before but she focuses on controlling the cyclone surrounding her to calm it. She refuses to be beaten by Lirreka again. NO ONE would stand in her way.*

"You....cannot.....hope to....escape, Lirreka. You....have an.....important....date to make."

[Triune]

*A battle of wills for control of the wind begins. Lirreka smiles and reaches out with her other hand to help enforce her desire to keep the cyclone spinning, she tightens her control*

"How badly do you want it? All that you've wrought now balances on the edge of a vibroblade... Can you break my control? Can you take the Wind from me? Come on... Work for it! Do you have the mettle or does your Matron will end at your skin?"

[Lady Zahra/Jules]

*She closes her eyes ignoring the taunts of Lirr learning from all of her trainings combined that it was by keeping your head and staying one step ahead of the other that battles were won. Her eyes remain closed though her voice echoes inside Lirreka's head.*

[glow=red,2,300]Control can be lost in a moment. Just as you lost control that day your child was lost to you. You were weak and helpless at that moment. There was nothing you could do to help your child. Do you remember it? Your own flesh and blood lost to you forever....[/glow]

*Control falters, the winds shift letting Kyra take command of them. Lirreka winces as the energies used to keep control of the wind backlash on her, seeming to stun her for a moment.*

[Lady Zahra/Jules]

*She twists her wrist sending the winds at Lirr with gale force pushing her towards the wall. Kyra continues to step forward her emerald eyes open this time.*

"You've lost your touch, Lirreka. Your weakness is your lost child. Again, it is strange how fate has brought two people who have soo much in common together as enemies."

*She stands in front of Lirr as her back is against the wall. Her gaze penetrates deep into her. 'Lirreka's' head leans forward and envelops Lirreka in a tender kiss as her hand holding the syringe again comes closer to her neck.*

[Triune]

*Despite the stars that dance in her gaze Lirreka returns the kiss from her doppelganger. A flow of emotions, Pride in Kyra, she is pleased. There is lust and desire there but over it all is this rime of pride for her accomplisments, so much like the blond Danthiri's emotions when Kyra was being 'trained'.*

"Are we enemies or just two women that m ust strive against one another to strengthen and hone our weapons?" She asks softly after the kiss...

[Lady Zahra/Jules]

*She chuckles as her hand caresses Lirreka's cheek again looking into her eyes though the emotion she felt she didn't expect from this woman. Shouldn't she be wanting to know about how she has received this ability? Or does she already know?*

"Perhaps we are both correct. This doesn't change the fact that you have been a thorn in my side since your arrival, Lirreka. Though, I did see Arael......she is happy here. For that I should thank you."

*Her hand moves even closer as the syringe is inserted into Lirr's neck and the sedative is pushed into the carotid artery. Her hand quickly goes to put pressure against the pin prick.*

"Sweet dreams, Lirreka....I'm sure you will have many questions when you awaken."

[Triune]

*She doesn't wince from the injection but she never breaks eye contact with her. A smile forms on her face.*

"As I'm sure you will too... Kyra."

*She closes her eyes as her breathing becomes deep and regular her form held up only but the pressure of Kyra.*
