They could never match up to the likes of GnR, Nirvana, Led Zeppelin etc

I slightly agree with Iron Maiden and AC/DC. Only because I like some songs of theirs (Back in Black, Highway to Hell, The Number of the Beast, 2 Minutes 2 Midnight, etc.).

i dont think many of you hate rap and hip hop like you say you do. you most likely, like myself, hate what you see on MTV. that would include .50 cent, little jon, big tymers, ect. in other words plain bullshit. but I guarantee that if any of you listen to actual underground rap, you will like it. i could list numerous rappers who many of you have never heard of, that are really good.

lots of underground rap is played on live instruments, and some of it is real political and shit. than you got battles and all sorts of shit. its totally different from what you see on mtv.
