Depending on whats inside.If someones in danger i smash it down or if theres a thing i need and can't get caught or else i will pick the lock. mainly i would smash it.

I think that i would let that person go. Depending on the circume stances. Like if i could get saved later i would let him go. If i die i would not have to mourned death is natural. Yes i would let the other person go.
