"I also don't like the whole stance. Necromancy is a dangerous art, we don't want our Padawans exposed to that sort of thing. And the Order has enough Masters to train our members as is.
So tell us, you two. What's in it for us other than something we can do for ourselves perfectly competently already? And trading, which the Order has no business in anyway?"

*Velis turned to Mhelin and spoke as though the council weren'e even there.* I told you they were pompous and arrogant. They think nothing of others. Where were they when the Guardians were killed? Tending to their own affairs. Our world shall remain closed. *Velis turned away and walked out of the room. Mhelin bowed to the Council members and spoke in appologetic tones.* I do appologise for my companion's outburst. I understand your viewpoint on trade negociations. But I would believe that both our cultures can benefit from an exchange of knowledge. For instance, we could teach your learners how to resist 'the pull of the dark side', as you call it. Our Necromancy is very powerful, but it is most often the strongest willed of our kind that use this power.

"Hmm...that is quite interesting...necromancy..."
*Jorax had to think a bit before remembering such things*
"Ah...only the strong willed?"
*Jorax quickly came up with a thought and sent it to the Jedi Masters*
[glow=green,2,300]What if we only send a Jedi Master or Knight to test it out. We could monitor his progress and then slowly send them to these people. It would help bind our friendship with these people...but we must be careful of this. If we are to follow through with this plan, I suggest sending a Jedi Master.[/glow]
"So...when did the Yalara of Light come here?"

The Guardians of Light aided the Jedi in a great war almost eighty years ago.

"80 years ago? I was around for that..."
*Jorax thought back...necromancy did seem quite familiar...but he couldn't place his finger on it...what did they do to help...*
"And what exactly did you do to help the Jedi in the War against the Sith?"

"Mmm... oh yeah, I remember you guys. Read something in the Archives... I believe you helped recover Ossus? Yeah, you and Deadeye Duncan, Kain Lightbringer, Dexon Kyjar, and Boli and Alorn Delish, unless I'm mistaken...
And you were alive then, Jorax! How could you not know that? Wasn't even one of them your Master? This is saddening..."

"Now now...I was quite young then...and my memory tends to slip...after all, I'm 91 years old Master Joh'had. It's good to remember Master Duncan, Kyjar, Delish, and Lightbringer. They were good people...great Jedi."
*Thinking back...he suddenly remember the Guardians of Light...at Ossus...*
"I remember your Order now...it's been quite some time since you've shown yourselves..."

“Trade negotiations will not be accessible with us, however I will put in a word with the chancellor and try and ascertain why your claim was rejected. In the meantime,” he said his eye briefly glancing over at Jorax, “I will come and inspect your training facilities and methods, and then we can make an educated decision. Of course, if that’s ok with you?”

*As the others spoke of his grand father, a smile came to his face. Perhaps he was still admired, even though he became a Sith and never came back.*
"That seems reasonable to me."

I agree as well.
*Kael turns to the two people standing in the room and uncrosses his legs and leans in towards them.*
Master Kordin will go with a twofold purpose. First is to negotiate a possible cooperation between our two orders and second is to inspect your training facilities as he has already said.

"So then it is settled...Master Kordin will go with you two, unless you disagree with something..."

ooc: Velis left the room....
*Mhelin bows once more.* This is acceptable. You will be able to meet with the High Council also. I must say however that we have not yet approached the senate on trade negociations. We have made no offer that could have been rejected.

"Well, I would suggest going towards them about the trade negociations very shortly. It would probably be for the best, either way."

*Mhelin bowed and left the room. Once outside he approached Velis.* So what did the fools say?
They are going to appoint one of their Masters as an Ambassador. He will come to Yalara to see what they can learn. Do not anger him Velis, you would risk more than you know.
When it comes to guarding secrets, you know the Blood Sisters are most efficient. I will risk nothing, and if he is quick to anger then that is his own problem.
*They headed to the Galactic Senate and brought their case for trade negociations before the chancelor. They were granted an outpost in their capital city and an office in the Senate on Coruscant.*
