*Jorax waited in a meditative position for Sabre Aralion, a Jedi Master who resigned from his post. Odd as that may seem, Jorax just waited for him in an old warehouse...and was pretty much empty*

The footsteps clanged from across the warehouse, the door was bordered either side by two piles of wooden crates. The stall warehouse was beside the docks, and the sound of tidal waters could be heard from just outside. I had to admit this was an interesting place for a fight. The room was filled with crates and loose metal, each could me improvised as weapons, that or targets. Jorax was unfortunate to be fighting me, there were very few people that had beat me in combat, even fewer that had been able to do after the full completion of my training. There were a few men sitting in the room, none to watch the match, they were just homeless. The site of Sabre had them running out of the room as quickly as possible, he was the law in these parts, and if he showed up, you could only assume you were in trouble. Sabre stood still, waiting for the homeless bums to scatter out of the room. When they were all gone, he reached into his pocket pulling out a packet of cigarettes, he pulled on out and placed it in his mouth. “Want one?” he said, holding the packet.

Warm up? Boy this kid had lived a sheltered life. I can’t remember the last time I was offered a warm up before a hell beating. I guess it wasn’t a courtesy regularly practiced in these parts. Sabre didn’t speak at first, his hand was rummaging through his pocket for his lighter, finding it moments later; he held it up to his cigarette. He pushed down on the ignition button, cupping his hand around the flame as it sizzled to life on his cig. He dropped the lighter back into his pocket, before out of the side of his mouth he said, “I don’t reckon we’re ‘gonna be needing a warm up kiddo.” This was going to be different. The last time I had taken part in a civilized spar was well before I came here. I was now used to roughing it out with bulky aliens or ravaging mutants, neither of which ever seemed to take a lightsaber wound curtly. Not that they could do much about it, but their family could. Guess it was time to take the old girl back out of retirement; sure I had practiced with her, but nothing like what I was about to take part in.

"City life has gotten to ya Sabre...it's definitely gotten to ya...alright then...let's roll!"
*The room started to shake violently...as Jorax made eye to eye contact with Sabre. He was using Dreamscape...one of the techniques he had been trying to get familiar with. If his realm could be completed...then there would be no real bloodshed*

Couldn’t put my finger on it at first, I knew the kid was going to try a traditional combat defusing move to start, it was the first thing you were taught as a Jedi. I was keeping my eyes sharp and my senses active, I needed to know exactly what he was doing before I could try and defend. Sabre spread his stance, holding his hands out to his side steady, and lowering his centre of gravity. His head swivelled around sharply, taking in every detail of the room. It was dreamscape; I noticed the hazy blur across the wall recognizable as a shift in reality, or mental observations of one. I wasn’t sure what he was trying to consume me into, but I wasn’t going to find out, when in Dreamscape the world would be his and I would be playing his game, something I knew from experience not to do. Sabre turned his arms out horizontal and his hands up vertical, spreading his fingers and straining his brow. He drew the force into his palms, feeling it like a soft Naboo wind in the early spring. He tensed his muscles and with a slight grunt a wave of the force flew out of his body, he was using dissipate energy. As the wave began to pass around the room it absorbed the illusions into it, blending them into the fray of reality. That was one trick down, I had a habit of picking up the way my enemy worked, it came with my job, or maybe my job came with it.

*As soon as the room started to go back to normal, Jorax sensed a disruption in the Force...with his technique...but it wasn't the technique, it was Sabre...using...Dissapte Energy*
"Not good......"
*Jorax just let go of his Force Flow and then used his body as a vacuum, consuming all the Force around him...and the Force around Sabre as well. The Force was entering Jorax and he was holding most of it within. The rest was going to his feet, where the beginning of the fight was to begin*

I could feel what he was doing almost immediately; I’d come to expect it of naive Sith but a Jedi Master, quite unexpected. The theory was you could drown you opponent of the force, making them fight by the standards of a non-force sensitive. However it never truly worked, we our ourselves links to the living force, we may draw on it from more than a room or even a planet, we have a physical and mental link to all the universe. Admittedly it worked quite well with drain energy, the combination of the force being drawn from you and around you can create quite a shock, however you can train yourself to withstand it should the need arise. Sabre stood un-phased by the force manoeuvre, he stared coldly and dryly at Jorax taking in his every move and preparing counter attacks. Boldly and brusquely he sunk his both his hands through the centre rims of his long coat. His right pulled out a blaster pistol and his left a lightsaber. After doing this he bent his knees, straightened his back gripped his weapons tight.

*Jorax suddenly stopped the flow of energy. Sabre was quite smart, and he was a former Jedi Master, so he would know how the Force usually would work. Now was the hard part. Concentrating about 1/8 of the Force he had drawn from the previous move, he used a Burst of Speed and ran straight at Sabre. At the last moment, he drew 2 lightsabers, one in each hand, and with his right, he sliced at Sabre's blaster, and with the other, he lunged right at Sabre's chest. being ambidextrous had its advantages*

Drawing so extensively from the force had been a curse to Jorax, taking so much left gaps, in this case to many. The minute he employed a force based move it would try desperately to regain its old position, allowing me to read his moves expertly and drawn my own strategy from them. As I opened my mind to force running images past through my mind, compelling images of haste and swiftness. It was burst of speed, now I had him. Sabre instinctively employed his own burst of speed, whether it was faster or not was not apparent, however they seemed to be working at roughly the same speed. What to do now, I wasn’t going to be able to evade his attack; I would have to work off of it. I tried to increase my speed, my vaster experience allowed me to do so, I wasn’t going much faster but fast enough to make sure I could block his first attack. As his right hand moved forward toward Sabre’s right hand and his blaster, Sabre lifted his lightsaber slightly. Its blue aura sprung suddenly to life and with a flick forward it hit Jorax’s right-handed saber on its right side. As he did so its course left increased, flinging his right arm over his chest and indisposing his right lightsaber momentarily. The second lightsaber aiming for his chest was dealt with just as quickly. Sabre’s lightsaber pulled back the way it had just came, this time catching the left side of Jorax’s left lightsaber. This pushes it over his chest as his right had been. Now Jorax’s arms were crossed and Sabre have his way. He pulled back the trigger on his blaster, it spewed 2 sky blue bolts, each heading for roughly above Jorax’s belly button.

*Jorax had underestimated his enemy...too much. He didn't expect that from Sabre, but now he had to be extra careful. The blaster bolts came quick, and then Jorax set up a Force Bubble right at his belly button, and the bolts were deflected. One went right back at Sabre, and the other went sky high. Then, he let the Force Bubble disappate as he uncrossed his arms and jumped back. Then, he threw both at them right at Sabre. Long range fighting would have to do for now...*

I was playing my game, something I loved to do; he was in to deep now, far too deep. I wasn’t going to get cocky though, pride comes before a fall. I needed to move fast, my saber would need to tear through the air to get that stray bolt, then again, if he could do it from that awkward position I could do it from mine. Just as Sabre had anticipated his lightsaber needed to move extremely fast. He forsook controlled lightsaber technique for a speedy and risky move. He twisted his lightsaber around, his nimble finger spinning it as fast as their bone and muscle would allow. A hued blue circle swerved in front of Sabre, catching the bolt inside it and flinging it away. One down, but I needed to focus, I could anticipate he was going to try and take advantage as soon as possible, something I needed to be ready for. I was right; his lightsabers were coming right for me, needed to recover fast now. With lightning haste Sabre stopped his spinning blade, taking it into a makeshift stance that would have to make do. As the blades hurtled toward him he slashed his saber across the air in front of him in a heavy handed arc, smacking both blades away to his right, no doubt to return to their maters hands. I had a plan it was risky and it had a high margin of failure but it was my style something I lived for, something I would possibly die for. Regaining his defencive stance he quickly plummeted forward, running at the top of his speed, his eyes keenly glaring at Jorax, he was close now.

*Jorax finally had it. He had long forseen this with Force Recogntion a while back. Jorax had to slowly plan this out. As Sabre glared at Jorax, Jorax once again used Dreamscape, but this time at a higher level. Concentrating on his eyes, the room once again started to shake, shake horribly, yet Jorax kept his ground as he once again tried to complete his realm of Dreamscape. Multitasking at the same time, he called back both lightsabers knocked so far away. They cut through the air, and one returned to my hand as the other returned and snapped onto my belt. Sabre was trained as a Guardian or Sentinal...that was for sure. The way he fought was an interesting style, but there was a lot of different things mixed into one. It definitely wasn't Soren Sen, and he was thankful, for he had only 2 things strong enough for that, but both had a price to pay*

OOC: I know this is contradictory, but I said I was very close at the end of my last move, so I would be able to do this before you draw your lightsaber back.
Here I go, risky, I needed to time it perfectly otherwise it wouldn’t work. I was drawing the force into me, letting it pump through my muscles to the beat of my drumming heart. As Sabre’s feet carried him roughly a metre in front of Jorax he suddenly leaped; flipping dexterously into the air. He had flipped entirely vertical by the time he had reached the air directly above Jorax. I suddenly felt it, I hadn’t been focusing on my senses with this move and Dreamscape had caught me slightly off guard. He’d tried it before though, with me if you fail once you don’t get a second shot. I needed to move fast this was a complication I hadn’t overly accounted for; thank God it wasn’t a new trick. With great haste Sabre used dissipate energy, he was already familiar with how he needed to pull this one off, so by the time he’d landed the distortion across the room had strewn back into the real reality. He knelt down the minute he landed, spinning on his heal to face Jorax’s back. His blaster fell limply onto his belt, aided slightly by the force. He moved his right hand out a fraction, using force pull on the lightsabers, it was plummeting blade first toward Jorax’s abdomen, only aided by Jorax’s own force pull. He didn’t have many choices now; I was making sure the lightsaber could not be turned off, I had most moves scouted now.

*Jorax was now in a sticky situation. He Force Jumped at the last second, and the lightsabers rocketed right at Sabre. Then he landed, feet softly touching the ground. This was going to be a very long match.*
