Shaw vs. Kyrtus

[Lu Kane]

*I countered his push of my own, holding his lightsaber in place and trying to throw Shaw back. Struggling for control I'm begining to run out of options*

"This is getting really tiring, we've ruined a nice balcony there"

[Bralor]

A lot more than that can be ruined in a real life duel.

*Shaw keeping a very strong hold on his lightsaber as he used a very powerfull Battle Meditation on Kyrtus to spread some fear in him as Shaw used Force Speed to run up to Kyrtus at high speeds slashing at his neck but faking and diving to the side of Kyrtus behind him while slashing at the back of Kyrtus's legs in a very short time because of speed*

*I use a calming Force technique to keep the fear at bay when I feel a sudden *DANGER* sense. Everything that happened next took about two seconds... I side flip to my left out of the way of his attack, spin around him throwing my golden lightsaber into the air and catching it then jump up above Shaw and drive it downward toward his scalp*

[Bralor]

*Shaw using force sense saw it quickly before and stepped to the side as Shaw slashed his lightsaber horizontally at Kyrtus as he jumped over*

*Everything slows down to a crawl... Waiting in the darkness is unimaginable power, all Kyrtus needed to do was tap into it and he could win easily... It called to him... "Your beaten, fall to the Darkside and feed on your anger... With it you can replenish your strength and finish this. Just this once" it said*

"No... I.."

*Just this once I reach for that Darkness, pull it around me and bask in it's power. A strange light enters my eyes, like fire. I look down at Shaw and send a blast of the Force at him throwing him backwards slumped against a wall*

*Shaw silently realises at what this Padawan has become already and using Control Pain shut down all of the nerves in him from feeling pain as the young padawan did not know that. Shaw found this to be a good example for the Padawan to learn at how easy it is to fall to the dark side and how to turn from it*

"What are you doing?"

[Lu Kane]

*I look down on him with a wicked smile on my face*

"What am I doing? You figure it out"

*I send a full force storm of Dark Force Lightning at Shaw, throwing him up against the wall with incredible strength*

[Bralor]

*Shaw felt nothing as his skin burned from the Control Pain, as Shaw got thrown into the wall he healed his wounds with the force for a minute untill he was back tgo normal without during the time feeling a single throb of pain. Shaw got up.*

"You see how fast the Dark Side can turn you now? Turn back just as quickly now"

[Lu Kane]

"Your not even hurt? How can that be?"

"Wait, what did I just try to do? I'm a failure, falling to the darkside over a pitiful practice duel?"

[Bralor]

"I can feel the pain now yes, the Jedi can block off pain temporarily, I was able to heal the wounds before the affects wore off but there is an afteraffect."

*Shaw showed that his skin was marked slightly from burns*

I think that your master should teach you more on emotional and mental strength. But are we going to continue the duel?

[Lu Kane]

"No, I think we're done here... and... I'm sorry"

[Bralor]

Well, we can always have practise duels anytime, and at least you turned back to the light so it's alright.

"Well I think that I never really fell too far down that path, and I don't plan to ever again, but also, I'm not fully lightside. I'm more grey than either Light or Dark"
