OK my 2 cents now...
Kamino is anything but worthless...resource planets are only one thing that is needed. Planets that house races with supreme intellects are also needed...IE: Duros and Kamino. Kaminoins are a genius race of weapon builders and are on the fore front of new weapon techs. Yes they are at this stage already.
Kamino still has solid ground as well. The planet will not become covered in water for another 1500 years as the polar ice caps continue to melt more and more platform cities will be built.
You guys are killing me on this Corellia thing...I just cant find anything to substantiate these claims. Everything I read on Corellia states that is always an upstanding member of the republic and only that but it always says that Corellia was a founding member of the republic.
Now I am not saying through RPing here this cant be or hasnt been changed. If thats the case please specify. SO we are all on the same page. If this is this the case of course thats fine and dandy as we are free to create the galaxy as we continue to RP. Thats fun part about being in a historic void in the star wars chronolgy.

Not saying it does...Just asking for clearification is all. Facts do matter a great deal. If we are RPing that Corellia at this in history is self governing that makes a huge diference. They are the greatest of the republic worlds. Why did they leave and how can this be remedied? The war will be over someday, and when that comes we need to work to bring Corellia back. It's a must. How can we attempt this without understanding why or when it left?

Personally i think it's gonna be difficult to keep this war perfectly correct. For that to happen all the other Factions will have to accept that the republic will win and to be entirely honest i can't see that happening.
