Well, if you think it could have been fixed differently than state your reasons.

It rocks because the story that's about to start is going to be a great one.

Change is surrvival, change is enevnable. It is unavoidable, and is a requirment for growth. And we all need to adapt, we all need to change to surrvive, because life changes with or without us. And change was very much needed for the last time line seeing as it was dying. We had two choices, die with it, or move on. The change was and is needed.

That would have become a free for all with people being cheap thinking "It doesn't matter if I do something stupid as we will have a new story tomorrow".
It would have been a huge headache.

I think that is pretty much how the story went (only we didn't RP it). We kind of hit a wall with all the Coruscant stuff so Bac (and maybe others, I don't want to not give people credit...) wrote a little something on what happened between then and now. I personally think the timechange was a good idea. As much as I liked Darth Erebos, I like Kapar'in and Krypten more. Also, I think that the time change made me more active as an RPer and not just an OOC WTFer ;D

'Twas me and Sabre who wrote something. Sin and Sabre took over the Sith Empire; Viea was destroyed, redeeming Adena Qel-Droma; Ussej, Kit, Laili and Ussej II fled and became Bendu. Most other characters either a) eventually died or b) just faded into every day society. There are other characters who have big stories coming up, such as Damien Nightblade, Ussej Bac and his gang, Kyra, Arael and Ranka.
