He didn't have the political power to keep rome under heel and his military strength was sapped....he made the right choice not attacking rome.

No he would have been able to he decimated the romans right before.He was good in battle but weak in all the aspects of a general. Look kid, you should go do some research before posting stupid stuff, because you obviously dont know anything about Hannibal. He was one of the greatest General in ancient time and almost sacked the city of Rome when it was at the apex of its glory and power. next time you go do reaserch. i know what i am talking about |

Hannibal may have been a great General but any battle back then made your Army Suffer considerable losses. |
