... but that doesnt make them better writers... Well, a good writer will captivates the reader's attention, and I think that Tamir and Exar were successfully capable of captivating mine, so yeah. They are pretty good. |

Ohh, my good days of spamming. How I miss them.  Indeed. Nowadays it's all that keeps LA alive, I think we should give those new mods a nice big batch of it. |

Now if we were talking publishing credits I win without even asking about anyone else.. 125 short stories, articles and poems, over 5 continents, in 12 languages sorta gives me the edge ;D Writing skill is not however a measure of how often you've been published. Writing skill is based in how well the writer can draw in the reader. Can I say I do that better than anyone here? No, it's all subjective. I enjoy my own writing though I realize that it may not appeal to those here. I also enjoy reading Kelly, Bac, Ranka, Adena, and yes even Tamir. All have a firm grasp on composition and how to develop scenes. (We're not talking about grammar here). Again though this is not the premise of the thread. We're talking about Roleplaying. Roleplaying is similiar but not the same as writing a story. It has many of the same elements but one key difference is there is not a single writer but instead several (However many involved in the thread) and where Tamir falls short is his inability to allow anyone else to excell in his scenes. It's a pitfall that can snag many good Rpers and keeps them from being anymore then a one trick pony. (Setting up scenes). Where the others (And I humbly include myself and others on this board not mentioned above) perform better than Tamir and where In my opinion Kelly excells is her ability to develop scenes that can involve everyone. This is why I voted for her. Even if I could vote for myself (And if my RPing beyond this site is added I would win ;D 26 years people! call me when you get yer first decade under your belts!  ) I would not based on my RPing here. |

dude they fucked up all the forums. Sure, they lock the appropriate threads, but even a small "fuck you" to another member results in a permanent ban.

Now, I know how everyone liked Ussej's RPs, and out of...oh, say...1,000 or so people who have read the Alternative Saga, I think...like...2 of them have said they didn't like it.
