As I recall the makers of Warhammer (Games Workshop) either bought up Game Designer's Workshop or is an evolution of that company. So I can say yes I used to because I played Traveller which they put out with great glee at one time.

I only played D&D waaaay back in the day. Fun times... until my stepbrother's friend(the one who had all the stuff) left it at someone elses house and that dick claimed it as his own even though it had the one guy's name written all over it.

I actually still have a rule about that. If your gaming stuff stays in my house for a year and a day without you returning to claim or use it, it's mine!!! ;D

It wasnt a year and a day... hell it was for less than a DAY! They were doin some late night D&Ding and the owner left to go home, left it there then came back later in the day and somehow that one dick decided to claim it as his own.

WarHammer.. Useing the Skavens, Empire, Britonians, Chaos Knights, and High, and Dark elves..
and I played Blood-bowl a few times
and yes I did spend countless hours hand painting the miniatures, as well as making my own terrain, and sets from scratch
though I tended to play TSR's Battlesystems Miniature skermishes,, which was alot more fun in my book, oooh I miss the old Ral Partha miniatures, they did the best work....
so I mixed them, took the war hammer minis into the battlesystem book, and gave them stats based on the miniatures look and type,
a war wagon vs kobolds was a funny thing indeed

Well my Gaming stuff is the one big indulgence I've ever had. Touching a Gamer's stuff is bad enough but claiming it.... That'll start a riot ;D

I must say I do miss the days of playing table top once a week. Had a group of four players for nearly 10 years. Wasn't a setting we didn't play, destroy or otherwise enjoy. ;D Always on the weekend, nearly always friday nights start around 5 pm, order in a pizza or maybe cook up something for everyone if I was feeling cullinary, play till like 3 or 4 am saturday... THAT was Gaming at its finest! You name the system and I played it, GMed it or had it in the wings....

I will probably do a Lahmian Vampire army (the female ones).

I have never played Warhammer, but I did "demo" it once in a game store. The guy who was trying to teach me got pissed because I kicked his ass and didn't know what I was doing. But I used to play pen & paper AD&D a lot when I was younger. Star Wars once, but it never got off the ground...
