lets see... could be because of historical events that founded those reigons, or things that happened in them, there is alot of reasons to know all the states when you are recearching history...It helps to know them more over mainly to keep tract of everything going on in such a massive massive landmass

and it's funny how everything back fired, when England first colonised the US..they sent the Scots to deal thinking the " savages" would kill eachother off,, but Ironically the Scots and indians got along VERY well because culture wise we are alot alike..
