So let me see if I got this straight, people who don't know shouldn't vote because they don't know what they're voting for... If it's supposed to keep the boards fresh then wouldn't it be something that all members regardless if they came from LA or not need to understand to use? Well, they can't know if it keeps the forum "fresh" or not since they dont know what it is. And maybe it wouldn't keep the forum "fresh" so it's only a matter of opinion. |

i don't see this *distraction* you guys are talking about, it's just another addition to the site with crazy RPing, making it more fun, and taking away post count from it would be kinda pointless rayken... no Keanu is right we can't allow the post count to rise since it will all be pointless and post counts would rise way too high in the day. |

i never really looked at the RP part of LA, but I don't know that it would make too much of a problem. As long as it is kept seperate from the actual RPs. As for post counts, I don't think post count means a whole lot. If people want to come on here and boost their totals by posting crap, let them. As long as it doesn't affect the RPing, it shouldn't matter.

The thing is, if someone doesn’t have a major character, they tend to start doing there own thing, this is when RPs become confusing. When you have everyone doing their own thing, RPs never ends. The same thing happened on LA... we had the major characters like, Kit, Devlen, Exar, Tamir and Eli hogging the spotlight while everyone else kissed their asses. Back then, the RP was spontaneous, people would discuss plots on MSN about 5 mins before they posted. Things are different here... it is more serious, not that its a bad thing, but we do need a bit more flexibility in this forum when it comes down to fun and games. The LA style board is also a good place to practice RP and experiment with stories without fucking about and getting in the way of the story. People I have spoken to tend to picture LA as somewhere where people would piss about and act cheap 24/7. This isn’t the case. LA produced some of the greatest Rpers I have ever seen.
