Ok so basicly I took the total number of Olymbic medals that were won by each country from 1896 to 1996 and then used that number to divide the estimated current population of each country to get some interesting results (Results = Population/No. of medals). So vote away. I will post the actual results in 2 or 3 days.

Well, Australia has the fewest amount of people per square kilometre, so I will say they have the most amount of medals per person. Makes sense.

Its about medals in general, not golds.
And Pele, America has far too many people for it to be them... Or at least I would hope not.

Plus I can't get stats on that.

But dont they have less people than New Zealand? Sh!t no they have like 5 times as many people as us! They have like 20.4 million people. they have more people living in one city (Sydney) than live in all of NZ. NZ is the smaller of the two in size and population and we still give them a good run for their money everytime we play them at almost everything.

Im tempted to say the US because we always clean up when it comes to medals... We always come in the top 5 when it comes to earning medals... but i honestly have no idea...
