Haha, yeah. It's a real clean lake, too. It's in mid/southern Illinois. It used to be a valley but was filled up about 30 years ago, and is now a huge, clean lake.

We have kind of similar place in NZ. Back in the 80s another hydro-power dam was built in the South Island. Unfortunately there was a historical village in the valley and it had to be flooded and lost, though I think they got like 6 months to do everything they wanted there and take away what they needed, so it worked out in the end.

For me, personally... I like to be hight altitued, prefering atleast a mile high, rocky mountian preferably Glacieral, or volcanic in formation.. dence forrest, though I prefer things like the Pacific north west style rain forrests, and red wood, ever green works too...lots of water falls and streams, AWAY from people in large....though I DO prefer to be no more than 20 minutes from a decent sized town or City

my preffered environment would be something like the Black Forest in Germany, but near a nice lake or close to the mountains, and within range of civilisation, though not too close.

Yeah, is it real clean too? Yes but you can't swim in it too close to the dam. Unless of course you want to be pulled in and killed.

While we are on the subject, does anyone else want to know anything about NZ? Tourist spots, population, major industries, etc. Ask anything.

out in missouri there was a lake that was like 30 minutes away, and out there thats close, it would get good and warm, but not a clean lake in the slightest, if you were to put your hand a foot dep there is no way you could see it
