Do you not think it would be a lot easier to have no sticky threads. The reasons you've given are stupid really because you've got the link on the first page right here, anyone wants to read it they click on this and if you wanna access it the same. Well in the case of certain threads that have large widespread impact on the boards, those have the right to be stickied.

Admins use their discretion when it comes to labeling them.

Yeah but it could be argued that all threads have a large impact, When a padawan becomes a knight, is that not one more warrior against a Sith? Or when you kill your best friend, does that not have emotional impact?

That does have impact but not as as widespread towards other characters. This thread of Adena's could have major impact on the galaxy due to her being the head of a group. The end result will have a major impact on what happens in the galaxy.

I know what you mean, but a lot of people have voiced their concerns to me, they don't wanna be named becasue their frightened 'D's gonna ban them or something but i have an obligation to stand up on this one. There is no reason why one RP if more important than other, and as this thread has been made people are viewing it anyway. Having a stickied thread is such a little thing. but it means so much to so many people.

So let me see if I got this right, two pages of this thread have been dragged away from the actual topic to focus on the fact the RP thread has been stickied?

The notion that it being stickied would bother people is absurd to me and even more absurd is the idea that anyone would have to be in the position of defending the act of stickying a thread!

The idea that some would think this 'unfair' boggles my mind and that TWO PAGES of posts have been made pro and con of it all creates even more bogglement.

Unsticky the dang thing if it offends the sensibilities so much. Adena can always resticky it while she's working on it. Problem solved, Move on, Get back on topic and off minutiae!

Im not mainly stickying it because I can, Its because AS I work on it I am moding a pre exsisting post, and leaving to write more, collect referances, sometimes while writing proboards signs me out before I can post, so I just use it as a tool while Im working on it, and would UN sticky it once I was done writing..

and I would never get pissed about ANYBODY saying " hey 'D?, why is it stickied" and you know, I would have been happy to listen to them, and if they were bugeed by it, I would bever do it..

and I Hope they know that, Im NOT EVER going to jump on anyone for things like that guys..

and dont fall for that propaganda BS that goes about, If you need to say something please talk to me, and No I will not snap at you, or bite your head off, and there is no reason to hide..
