I personally believe that Heaven and Hell sort of exist, just not the way most people think it exsists. I think that the people that are ready to die go to heaven, the people who don't want to die go through reincartion ((if they are "good")) or become a ghost ((if they are "bad" and need some time to think over what they have done)) , the people who are pure evil go to a Hellish place.
Then again, when someone dies, how do we know for sure if Heaven/Hell/Reincarnation/Ghost even exists? What if nothing happens when you die?
And the sucky thing is, eventually, we are all going to discover what WILL happen someday... ((Dying day you morons))

I say a sort of reincarnation. But maybe not on this plane, maybe somewhere where the laws of physics are completely different, and Wookiees exist as a dominant species. Or maybe here, I dont know. But thats my theory....

I think that God made a plan for all of us to live in heaven with him. But he also gave us free will. Nobody's perfect and have sinned in their life, therefore aren't just ready to go to heaven. I believe that when you die, you "go to" purgatory until, and I quote: "He will come again to judge the living and the dead." (Apostle's Creed) But I wouldn't exactly say that it's a "place" where you wait to be judged. It's more of a temporary state of being, becoming purified. After, you will know whether it be heaven or hell. No matter where, I still believe that our soul will go on for all eternity. I think that death is just the start of so much more.
Although the Hindu religion believe in reincarnation, and not what I, as a Roman Catholic believe, I 'do' find it rather interesting. Rebirth as another individual seems cool and all, but if it were true, then you wouldn't even be able to remember your past life, and would start totally new. But it 'is' something to think on. Some people have said that they remember their past life in a matter of 3 seconds and say that they were royalty. I find that hard to believe. Seeing that you were of royalty in a matter of 3 seconds oppose to your whole life? We'll never really know for sure until we die...
I don't know for sure if something happens when we die, but I sure hope there's more to it than our bodies rotting six feet under. And if there really is nothing, then it's not like we'd ever find out because well.... we're not existing.

Ah yes the old reincarnation. Thats the reason why if Hindu's had extremist terrorises they would be the best at it. Suicide bombers with experience. Note: not my joke, heard it from a stand-up guy once.

Katroti made a good point. Nobody will ever know what happens.

Katroti made a good point. Nobody will ever know what happens. Although some people might argue that with faith come certainty.

Yeah I agree no one will ever know and religions try to make people think what they hope thats why I don't believe in them, I personally think nothing will happen you die, thats the end of the line unless you become like a ghost (believe in them like cursed but if everyone became a ghost there would obviously be a lot more sightings of them)
